In I think the 3rd Level of resistance fall of man the level was set in a place 3 miles or so where i live called granthamejb626 said:You know that mission in MW2, "Wolverines!" well I have this legal documentation right here
From the Call of Duty wiki *clears throat*
"While the mission, presumably for sensitivity reasons, takes place in a non-specific area of "Northeastern Virginia," evidence in the game files and the layout of the streets, architecture of the houses, and generalized restaurants based on real restaurants suggests that this level takes place in Sterling, Virginia in Loudoun County"
Yeah. man thats my hood right there, I still hold on to the belief that a fan from my town wrote that because while the shopping center seemed familliar it was pretty generic it could've been anywhere my friend says its in Arlington who knows, but enough about my fanboyism towards that non-descript suburb I inhabit, have you ever seen a game level or a game that in its entirity is set in an area, city, town, etc. that you live in, hell I'll even take countries just so more people can respond
And I'm sorry for mentionning MW2 I know your sick of it, but my town is really really obscure especially in an international community so thats the only game I know.
well excuuuuse me for mixing up two franchises that are very similar.Mistermixmaster said:dude, that was Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway *death glare for you thinking it was a half-ass MOH game*Latinidiot said:Medal Of Honor: Hell's Highway (at least I think it was MOH), played in Holland, but they probably didn't pass Ede, located In The Veluwe.
OT: Well, unless someone makes a game of Norway during 1814 I highly doubt it, and even then it's a 15 minute drive. But Commandos Strike Force has 4 or 5 levels set in Norway, during the attack to stop the nazi's from getting Heavy-Water. So country, yes, anywhere close to hometown, no.
Can you tell me the exact address? I'd love to see that place in Google Street View. I found Sterling in Google Earth, but couldn't pinpoint the exact location.ejb626 said:You know that mission in MW2, "Wolverines!" well I have this legal documentation right here

More like Grand Theft Auto: Cronulla, mirite? Lol. (-Reference to Cronulla Riots here.-)madbird-valiant said:I wish. I still stand by my opinion that Grand Theft Auto: Australia would kick serious arse.
Or a GTA rip-off, where you go 'round Hindley Street stabbing people, and doing drive-by's on Gouger Street.leady129 said:Thus far South Australia has been ruthlessly excluded from the list of actual places to be recreated in a video game. Not surprising since it's a reasonably quiet state. The only exciting thing which could be adapted from here is if you were playing as someone desperately trying to escape from a bush fire in the middle of summer. It could be set in first person. You would have no weapons and would simply have to run from the flames whilst trying to find small pockets of breathable air whilst at the same time keeping an eye on your health and smoke inhalation meter. You could run into various characters at certain sections of the adventure who you you work with to try and escape but all end up burning in deliciously gory ways. Perhaps near the end you could find a child and have to protect and rescue her from the bush whilst at the same time avoiding an angry vengeful man who's son you had to abandon in a burning car wreck in order to save yourself and at the end... OI!!! 2K (AUSTRALIA), YOU LISTENING!!!
Wow, really? I'm just across in Diablo II. Act V, can't miss it. HarrogathFritzvalt said:The neighborhood I grew up on was in Diablo. It was the cow level.
