I don't mean the frustration of not getting over that one crazy difficult boss, but that moment in a game where you were so emotionally moved by events you may have welled up a little. Do you ever have those moments, and if so, what are they?

Obviously, as people will describe game plot-points here, it's gonna get mighty spoilery. You have been warned.

For me, 3 big moments spring to mind:

The ending of the good ending of the first Bioshock game, with all the young women's hands on the main character's hand as he lies on his deathbed.

The bit in Alice: Madness Returns when you find the leader of the Insane Children's body at the door of the breached Fort Resistance (I was fighting off those B*tch Babies through blurry tear-o-vision, the leader was adorably feisty).

The end of Arkham City. Oh my god. I was in a room with two other people and they stopped what they were doing to ask if I was okay, I looked so down.

I have to say that the DLC for Minerva's den had me crying, I never expected that curb ball in what I thought would only be 2 hours of bioshock gameplay.

Oh, and the ps2 game Odin Sphere. Seriously, that game was messed up with what they did to my favorite character in the game. She did not just die, she lost EVERYTHING ... *sniffs*

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time played on PS2. The very last scene where you are talking to the princess and then that song plays. So much QQ

nearly all of the metal gear solids have brought me to tears each one has one part in it that are truly deep and sad (death of sniper wolf, death of otacons sister, death of the boss and ending of MGS4). they are the only games that have managed to do it.

Not really, no.

Though I will say that the one scene in Saints Row 2 was surprisingly moving. You know, that one Brotherhood mission.

Also Aisha's death. Played the first game, seeing her die in the second... just damn man.

*halo 3 spoilers ahead*

The legendary ending to Halo 3!
How this worked, was I vowed that if I were to finish the last level in Halo 3, it would be on legendary. After several pain-staking hours (knowing there would be a legendary ending), I saw the epic scene of Master Chief's isolation, in dead space. I cried right there. "Wake me, when you need me". So moving. The saviour of the human race condemmed to an eternity locked away in space.

Those scenes are basically why I'm saying SR3 is a downright fantastic game... but not quite up to par with SR2. SR2 emotionally affected me in ways I didn't expect. Breaking you down, getting you angry and giving such an immense feeling of both justification and pleasure when you in return completely broke the lives of both the Brotherhood guy and the... err... the asian gang guys. Can't remember their names for some reason.
The Ronin :p

I'm racking my brain here, which Brotherhood mission are we talking about again?

The one where they drag Carlos through the streets. You catch up to him... you hold his hand... and you end his suffering.

Mass Effect 1: I was focusing on Ashley as my love interest. When I had to choose between her or Kaiden. Plus her reaction afterward. It really seemed like an actual event.

Nope, I'm not a school girl. :D :p
Because crying makes you a girl? And being a girl is an insult?

OT: Glenn's story in Chrono Trigger. QQ
No one said it was an insult. Except you. :p
So let me get this straight:

Someone asks the questions "Has a game ever made you cry?", to which you reply "Nope, I'm not a school girl."

Where exactly I am misinterpreting anything you are saying? Leaving comments like that don't leave much room for anything but to feel insulted.

Someone asked a genuine honest question on these forums and the manner in which you replied was condescending, even if you did add a smiley emoticon at the end.

So you can continue to troll this if you want, but I suggest you follow the golden rule of the forums which is "Don't be an ass". (it is actually written in the rules fyi)

I don't have anything else to say on this.
