Kingdom Hearts offended me since it tainted Disney with all that anime bullshit.
Whats so wrong with Kingdom Hearts? Sure it was childish, but it was fun and that's all i give a crap about.
Final Fantasy Meets Disney Characters. I just couldn't get over that.

Postal 2 offends me because it tries so hard to be funny and controversial and fails miserably. Maybe if it was actually funny, it wouldn't offend me as much.
I guess it's possible that I'm ascribing more thought to it than Running With Scissors did, but I've always thought the Postal games were smarter than that. I think the Postal games have always gone for biting Satire than to try to be funny. Might just be that's how I've always taken them though.

At any rate, I'd have to choose Postal 2 as well. Not that I was actually offended but because that game has the only thing I've ever just not been able to make myself do. I just could not make myself use cats as silencers. I appreciated the the choice was there, but I opted out.

Every game that thinks I'm a complete idiot who doesn't even know how to use the controller. "Press "fire" to shoot"

Other than that, not really.

I don't think I have been offended by a game...

Infact a lot of the time offensive things are done for laughs, like a lot of commedy is. I think there's two types of people: those who get offended (idiots), and those who know not to take it seriously.

Example:
I go into a store in RDR and the shopkeeper says "You won't find anything Jewish-made in this establishment, sir."
And I go "what the hell lol" with a =o face.

I don't think that ANYTHING that wasn't directly aimed at me specifically has ever offended me, games included. I'm pretty laid back when it comes to that sort of thing.

Really? Wow, I'm a male who (judging by what I've heard refuses to even consider playing that game) thinks that game is simply in bad taste. I mean, fantasy is one thing but (to my understanding) the characters in that game are not playing out a fantasy. (I understand that playing the game is playing out a fantasy but not between those characters...if that makes sense). Maybe I'm just sensitive to the subject matter because I've witnessed how horrible rape is (walked in on it happening) and counselled those who have suffered through it.

Red Dead Redemption annoyed me with that mission called welshman irishman and a frenchman.
Something along those lines, welsh people dont sound anything like that!
Also the frenchman (is he?) has an American accent?!
American games could at least try and make the accent sound right, right?
No offense to any American people but the accent always seems half-assed.
Still one of my favourite games though.
The mission is called that because it's a play on the "An Englishman, a Scotsman and an Irishman" jokes, the same as how most of the mission titles are plays on words or references and aren't supposed to be takes so literally.

It's not actually saying that those characters are from those countries per say, but that's what their heritage is, hence being called by the nicknames 'Welsh', 'French' and 'Irish'. They're probably 1st generation Americans whose parents were immigrants.

The character 'Welsh' sounded Welsh to me (albeit with a strange dialect), and he was played by a guy from Swansea so at least one Welsh person sounds like that.

I think 'French' was supposed to be Cajun, or of French descent, not actually a man from France, which explains why he doesn't sound like a French person from France. It doesn't matter that he didn't have a French accent, his ancestors were from France which is enough for him to be given the nickname 'French'.

I was offended at how bad Star Ocean 4 was in comparison to the other three(Didn't play Blue Sphere because i don't have a Japanese cell phone for some reason), reminded me of the last season of Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law where you could tell the writers were trying to get out of having to ever write it again for whatever reason so they turned an awesome show into an awful piece of crap. That or they all went brain dead at the same time for some unexplained reason.

That employee should have been punched in the face.
Lol i think he's talking about Red Dead Redemption, not an actual store.

I can't be offended by video games, they are just meant to entertain and are in no way a reflection of the real world. Unless . . . OH NO, IT CAN'T BE AN ELITE! SAVE M . . .

RapeLay offended me, just because I was going in there expecting some horrible game and all I got was a hentai game I had to do more to get to the hentai. >_>

Also, intelligence took a 50% hit until I X'd out.
Well thats the most shocking thing I have read this year so far ...

Also kind of weird how your profile pic looks like your avatar pic. Kind of surreal 30 seconds I just had.

On topic. I have never been offended by a game/film/book etc ever.

I think your example is more in bad taste than actually offensive, to me anyway.
To each their own then. :D

Also, as for my profile picture and avatar, it's intentional. The avatar was especially made for me. :)
I just found it quite weird a girl would play a game about what must be the most horrific thing to happen to a girl and seemingly have high expectations of it.

Ah, I get ya. Should have had one of those little hats put on it aswell ... always wanted one of them, alas I am not American so I will never have to opportunity.

Sorry if my grammar and stuff is a little messed up, I have been awakened at 2:30 am by heavy metal. And here I was being polite by turning my bass volume down to an almost non existent level, well not any more!

Red Steel 2
it degraded me
made me feel like a jackass even in the game i was flailing around trying to figure out a way to comfortable do these ridiculous gestures
i fefuse to stand up when playing a game and Red Steel 2 didnt even reward my effort it just kept training me more and more stuff that i wouldnt understand if they made me do it a million times and never the less even use

it made me realize just how uncoordinated i really am and laughed at me in the form of training me as a child
if i didnt rent the game i would burn that disc

& I'm insensitive to it because most of my friends are guys who watch hentai.

I was strangely offended by one of God of War 3's boss fights. Sure, pull out that cyclops' eye, kick dogs, eye-gouge a god, whatever, but did I really have to see that boss' intestines and pull off his fingernail? Egghhh.

If you're angry about that you should be angry about Dutch not being Dutch. It doesn't really matter anyway - the other two guys get killed in the cutscene and you never have to worry about them again.

The absurd proportions of female videogame characters has always bugged me, not because they're degrading to woman, but because it shows that developers think I'm so stupid that they can get me to buy games just by slapping tits on them (though unfortunatly they're clearly right, as this apparently works well enough for them to keep doing it).

Donkey Kong 64; part of the song called DK a "hell of a guy". Also, I was seven years old.
That line BLEW MY MIND, because I was also pretty young and didn't realize it was legal to swear in a videogame. I was sort of bummed when they changed it to "heck," in Super Smash Bros Melee.

what's offended me in the past, minor spoilers

dragon age, when the king is fighting the darkspawn, he sends his hounds out first, while the troops wait for the order and watch as all those doggies were butchered.
I was offended, and wanted the bastard to die after that.
what else? the scene in mother 3 where the 12 year old protagonist gets a "massage" from a 40 year old tranny in a hot tub to acquire psychic powers(I shit you not).
the final boss in ff10...god how anti-climactic.
Paying 60 bucks for The Force Unleashed, then seeing the damn credits roll 5-6 hours after I put the disc into my console. THAT was offensive.

Oh, and every damn game has weak female leads. I mean EVERY time, the female lead(s) is/are always weaker and less useful in any portion of the game save the kitchen than any male character. This is bullshit.
Some of the best engineers, writers and soldiers on the planet are women.
And yet somehow, when it comes to saving the world, only the women who are less able in all areas show up to the party? that is offensive to me.
