It has happened to everyone, you break up with someone and you end up not being able to think about or see something without it reminding you of your ex. For me, I can never see a Michael Cera or horror movie without thinking of my most recent ex. Its pretty annoying.

Hmm can't say it has really...

Not that I've had that many exs.

I suppose if my current GF was to become an ex it would ruin Camden market and most of London for me and I just wouldn't want to go there.

Nope, but the one girlfriend I've had doesn't really count that much, so I guess I don't have much of a say.

A relationship ruined my desire for a relationship if that counts.

The movie UP is now intolerable for me, due to it being what was being watched in the Limo we went on for her sweet sixteen. It wouldn't have been so bad, but she had promised that her new boyfriend wouldn't be there, and that I was still going to be her guest of honor, because we'd been looking forward to it for a while and we were still pretty close.
She spent the whole time ignoring my existance, spoke to me about twice the whole day, and was practically crawling on top of him, to which I was the only one who was irritated where in everybody else who was there would throw a fit if we were so much as in the same room for any time.
When he picked her up and carried her to the back of the Limo, set her down on the back section of the couch and lied down on her in front of her family who'd just a month ago threw me out of their house because we had held hands, I got up, kicked the door open and walked to my home in the next town over from St. Louis.
I stopped speaking to her for a few months.
Needless to say, UP has been entirely and utterly ruined for me forever. Just hearing it pisses me off and ruins my day, which sucks considering my mum loves that movie to death and watches it all the time. She just doesn't seem able to grasp why.
In fact, just talking about it makes me want to crush a small defenseless dog.
Ouch... you can always throw a bottle of piss...

I've only had one girlfriend before, but the relationship was so insignificant I can't really remember it fully.

So the answer would be no.

Well, I guess if it counts, an "almost relationship" ruined life for me. We both really like eachother, yada yada yada, then she thinks Im taking it to slow and ditches me for some douchebag just as I realized I love her. That guy only lasted her a week until he labeled her as prude and moved on to sluts. Ive been thinking about joining the army lately, but then I realize I live in Canada...

Not at the moment, but if my current girlfriend broke up with me I think it would wreck literally everything for me for a long while.

oh pauvre cito. You will get over it eventually. Believe me time heals all wounds. I actually just recently got over a seperation with someone, and I could not watch several films for a while, as well as that microsoft commercial where they show the shark vs.zombie clip. That was our favorite movie.

I had a weird experience with a girl during Inception.
Don't know if it completely ruined it... yet!

Well lets see

1) Skiing (BTW this is my job in the winter and i cannot go up there without crying.)
2) My Favorite movie The Rear Window by Alfred Hitchcock.
3) A few songs that i can no longer listen to without thinking of her.
4) It pretty much killed my ability to be in a healthy normal relationship.

Thanks to her I can't stand any Indie or Indie-rock sort of music.

Fuck those talentless bastards and their simple songs that still get radio play.

You mean, besides my heart and my ability to ever love another human being?

Lots of songs I liked, a couple good movies. I'm sure there's more but I really don't wanna recall.

Well a relationship ended my negative views on love and how it was hopeless and happiness was never going to find me.

So.... Yay for a good relationship?

Yeah.
