I havn't damaged a controller since my SNES. Sadly my relic of history has seen a rather excessive ammount of damage.

I don't know how many times I've ended up hitting the poor thing when it crashes.

And the controllers... heh, my origional controller that came with the console has my 4-year old teethmarks on the upper right part... and the cord has electric tape my dad put on it because I chewed it up there too... darn Mario Bros. and their challenge to my childhood self.

Hell, some of them still drive me batty.

My other controller I must have thrown or banged against something because chunks are missing from its fragile plastic form. I blame Mario Kart and its 150cc mode.

The turbo function doesn't work either.

Mario taught me one thing, if anything... and its defenitly patience.

All games have the ability to piss me off. The victims of my rage are limited to my couch and coffee table. Well... Just the couch now. We have a new glass coffee table that doesn't like being hit.

Also, God help the cat if/when he decides to stick his ass in my face while I'm in the middle of a stressful online battle.

Not a chance, I've been frustrated with a game before and say an obscenity or two to myself, but I never got to that level.

I don't act violently toward anything inanimate...But I do sort of have a problem. When I get extraordinarily angry(Which is a lot, lately), I'll hurt myself. It's a very bad habit.

Now in it's eleventh year of faithful service, the only casualty of gaming rage has been the risers on the back of my Compaq keyboard, and that only happened a year or two ago. I have no idea what game finally caused that to happen, but given all the years it took of my fist slamming onto the keypad, it's held up pretty well.

I have no idea what I'll do if this thing ever gives up the ghost. Die a little inside, probably.

I usually try to find something that won't be damaged, like my pillow or mattress. However, there have been several accounts where I have broken a mouse or two out of frustration.

Street Fighter IV, Seth. My controller no longer works with the microphone and is currently held together with parcel tape.

When I was a kid and I got pissed off playing the original Super Mario I would throw my controllers around the room or I would bite them. By the time I got my Super Nintendo, my NES controller was nothing but bite marks and paint transfer from my walls.

One thing you have to give Nintendo, everything they made was made to take a beating. The Gameboy may be one of the most rugged pieces of technology I've ever owned. I never worried worried for a thrown Nintendo controller, only for whatever was unlucky enough to be in its way.

Oh, I know. I have a friend who threw his N64 through a closed second story window onto concrete, after it froze on him. It actually worked better afterword.

Fighting games,
I was never allowed to play them because I would get so angry that once I actually put my small 10 year old fist through an N64.
Even during Street Fighter 4, fighting Seth got me all kinds of furious.

Oh yeah... when I was probably 8 or 9 I got incredibly frustrated because I couldn't beat this level of DKC3 and I managed to smash a glass full of water... needless to say my parents banned me from that game for a little while.

So much violence towards controllers in here...

I've had a lot of annoying, frustrating and just mind killing gaming situations, but I've never actually got angry enough to cause any havoc in my room. I often just sigh heavily and try it again. For the 316th time.

I'm too nice to do such things.

Unreal Tournament 2004 gives me postnatal depressions sometimes when there is lag.
But thanks to gaming i am not that violent person who will take out his frustration on my community.
just own some noobs and it will be alright.
