My friend broke her external hard drive due to a member of a raid party causing her party to wipe in a World of Warcraft instance. I think that deserves an achievement, especially since the game was installed on her external hard drive.

I broke my keyboard stands in anger at slow loading times and crashes in games. Just like the angry German kid. =D

When I was like 8 I got pissed off playing Banjo - Kazooie of all games. I couldn't beat Grunty the last time you fight her, so after like a thousand tries I yelled and threw my controller at my 64. Not only did my controller break, my 64 broke too. Such sweet revenge beating that game on my 360.

This is an easy one!

Never. Ever. I'm a patient man. I've beaten the NES Ninja Gaidens, I Wanna Be The Guy and a bunch of other games. I might curse but that's because I'm doing something stupid myself, not blaming the game.

If you mean make you so angry/frustrated to the point where you kick something just to blow off some steam then yes

Final Fantasy XII boss against Elder Wyrm, and Dragon Ball Z tournament mode on advanced setting...Both so stressful I destroyed my couch.

I have thrown controllers at the walls out of sheer frustration but that was when I was younger. I have a much better handle on anger now.

Smash Bros. Melee pissed me off so much I took this cheap cup and threw it against the wall. Not as satisfying as if it had been glass, most likely, but much safer.

Indeed it has, but so far the only thing I've broken is my ring finger for holding the controller so hard that something poped in it, so I couldn't move the finger for like the whole day.

Aaaaahhahaha.
Well, one day I was playing a lot of Portal. (LIKE A LOT OF PORTAL)
So, because I wanted to 'test out the physics', I knocked my glass full of juice onto the floor, where it smashed.
And I was like 'Shit that was so real ;o'

Or, if I have to mention any 'damage' I once broke my friends N64 back when I was younger. We were playing Zelda Ocarina of Time, and we were doing that last mission when you run to the top of the building, and just when we were at the top of the stairs just bfore the boss, I got so stressed that I accidently kicked the N64 so it shut down.

Never. Inanimate objects cannot bleed or beg for mercy. So I'm (usually) not interested in hitting them. Yes I'm kind of...disturbed. I have punched the wall hard enough to break 2 of my knuckles, and punched a dent in my door. But that had other reasons.

Lost odyssey made me chuck my controller when i had to fight those big magic worms. Ive also threw a controller by accident when i was playing jade empire and got a little too immersed.

This week's question is: Has a videogame ever driven you to inflict physical damage on your controller or surrounding environment? If so, which game?
Super Mario World (SNES).
I repeatedly punched a wall on many of the later levels hurting my hand and the wall (part brick). Few posters on the plasterboard patches - no worries. I have completed this game a few times now, but I'd probably still have some trouble.

Nothing gets me angry like Platform games. They should be easy, they're not.
