Has anyone beaten revenge of shinobi on the genesis/megadrive without cheating?

I really want to know. Has anyone beaten it or got the good ending? I could only beat while cheating. I have only heard of person beating it{plus with the good ending] without cheating in the 12 years since i first played it. I heard that some very good gamers couldn't beat it. Has anyone beat it?

FUCK no. I just realised this a few days ago that as a child I hadn't beaten Revenge of Shinobi or Shinobi III at all. This needs to be done!

I beat "Alex Kidd in Shinobi World" on Master System II numerous times however.

Anyone ever beat golden axe without cheats? That game was a true arcade style coin eater... I just couldn't finish it, ever.
