Has anyone else noticed this?

There have been a lot of Assassin's Creed related topics in the forums lately. It's actually getting a bit annoying, even this counts as one. Why are there so many? I'd like to see topics about more than one game, but nope, mostly Assassin's Creed. Why can't people get off that topic and move on to slightly more interesting things?

OT: This is mild . I didn't even notice the AC threads . When ME3 came out the forums exploded . BEFORE skyrim came out the front page was full of useless threads ( I.E What class are you gonna make. What build you gonna use , what are you going to wear when playing the game ). Then when Skyrim actually came out , the first two pages was ALL SKYRIM ALLTHE TIME ! This is nothing , you'll know when it gets really bad , you wouldn't even want to visit.

Yes I am new, but, the game has been out for a couple of weeks and a lot of the topics about it are quite similar, thus why I think we should all just move on.

Maybe it's just me, but seriously, so many of the topics I see are about Assassin's Creed.

I know, it's a bit annoying, but this isn't nearly the worst it gets. When Skyrim came out that was all you could read about for a month before and a month after.

That's the thing about these forums, when we get stuck on a single topic that involves someone getting annoyed or angry, we run it into the ground. And from what I've heard, a lot of people have issues with AC3, so this site is gonna chew it out for a while. It's just something we do, really.

Just be happy you missed the ME3 ending threads as someone said. The horse that represents that topic is now a fine pile of dust because it's been beaten so much.

It's been the same way for years, new hyped game comes out and everyones posting about either how much of a let down it was or how stupid the story was or both. It'll die off in a few weeks when the next big thing comes out which will probably be the Wii U.

I'm with the others. You think this is bad? Well you weren't here for mass effect 3 or Skyrim. I haven't even noticed many AC3 threads. I think I have seen like 5.

I don't think that dead horse is even dust any more. We beat it until it was gone and continued beating the ground where it was and even now some people come over and hit the spot.

You obviously weren't there for the Mass effect 3 catastrophe. The gaming discussion was literally swamped with "ME3 ENDING QQ!!" and "ME3 ENDING IS GREAT GUYS THIS IS WHY!" or the classic "IGNORE THE ENDING, ME3 WAS STILL A GREAT GAME!".

The same thing happened with Skyrim, Dark Souls and Mass Effect 3. (All of them for a quite a while, but ME3 was much longer than it had any right to be.)

And really just about any and every other AAA title to be released.

Though to be honest, I think I've noticed more Transformers: Fall of Cybertron threads than Assassin's Creed 3 threads...

You're new OP...well...your count would suggest you're new...Anyway you should have been on here when Skyrim dropped! EVERY thread was about Skyrim or had references TO Skyrim. There are still Skyrim threads but not like 11-11-11. Those were the days. Anyway, Welcome to the forums friendo! I'm actually surprised there aren't very many ZombiU/ General Wii U threads honestly...
