That helped as well, it felt like a complete side story. It actually ended, as opposed fading to a screen saying "Buy the full game to experience more!" I suppose the first part of Half-Life wouldn't make for a very convincing demo anyway, pretty slow. Let that be a lesson to you developers who say "Well we can't make a demo because it's such a huge game and we don't want you to just play a small part." Just make a completely stand-alone demo with some of the parts you feel really show off what the game can do.Strafe Mcgee said:Uplink was especially awesome because it was a completely stand-alone demo.
