I've met a few TV presenters but I can't remember their names. They were on TV before my time and I didn't even know they were famous until my older coworker pointed them out. But the best I've met was Dame Judy Dench. She came into my work to buy a dog lead. The best bit was her phone went off and the ringtone was the James Bond theme.

The only famous person I've ever met was Nick Clegg (current deputy Prime Minister of the UK and leader of the Lib dem party for non-Brits) when he came to do a Q/A session at my school before he got his current government position. Asked him a question on climate change, he gave quite a good answer I think.

I've met Richard Stallman (big in the open source community. Also a lunatic). Does he count?

Met Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock when they came to visit my elephants. They were really nice, humble people.

I... wait, your elephants?

Yeah, never really properly met with anyone famous, but I did work up in our parliament buildings recently. It was really weird seeing all the politicians in real life, because you've seen them so much on TV and radio and stuff, that you feel like you should be in some way familiar with them, but they of course don't have a clue who you are (or a care to find out).
It was funny that the ones that come off as quite abrasive and confrontational on TV were actually some of the friendliest there, and another who was the leader of the Party I'd vote for completely blanked me because of the company I happened to be in at the time (standing with a staff member of a different, rival party).

I answered a question for Peter Molyneux (fable) at the gadget show live. It was across a small bunch of people on chairs (we were both standing) I smiled awkwardly he sorta just stared.
Oh yeah I saw Jonathan Ross in an airport this one time. Do they count?

I interned with MTV Networks a couple years ago. During a promo shoot, I met Snooki and Ronnie. Ronnie was a decent guy.

You might expect that Snooki was acting like a queen *****. At first, I thought so, but then I watched closely during the course of the shoot. Every couple of minutes, the director would cut so her make-up or hair or something else could be adjusted. As she stood there, unresponsive to the pampering, I had a sudden realization: She wasn't being treated like a queen. She was being treated like a show dog.

So I grinned to myself. Because in a couple more years, after people get bored with Jersey Shore, the show will cancel suddenly. Because she's not a celebrity, she's a commodity. No one will know who she is. And she'll have nothing left.

And on a side-note, plastic surgeons really should post "You must be this tall to get breast implants" signs.

Patrick Stewart is a family friend.

Daniel Radcliffe Woman In Black filmed the scenes where he stays with the rich guy at a house around here.

Andy Hodge (Olympic gold medalist, went to my secondary school. I'm friends with his brother)

Jeremy Bullock (Bobba Fett) real nice guy. I'm embarrassed that it was at a Star Wars "fan fun day" my friend dragged me to, mostly populated by parents and children. Made me feel like a douche.

The only two people I would freak out fanboyishly over meeting in the entire world: John Green, and Sean Bean.

Dude! Porcupine Tree did a concert there that got filmed for DVD. Did you meet any of them?

As for my famous people list, it's rubbish. I met Prince Edward once cause my African Drumming group in middle school did a performance in front of him.
I came very close to meeting Wishbone Ash's guitarist, but I pussied out cause I had nothing for him to sign.

Shook hands with Princess Anne when she opened the UEA Sport Centre. I was that kid they pick to give the Royal Family flowers. Also spoke to some Admiral or something at the same time.

Other than that, I met Noddy Hoder when I was buying a guitar. He told me he really liked the one I was playing, so I bought it.

When I was a tiny lad, I met Al Aronowitz.
Last year, I met Crispin Glover and got his autograph.
Something around two years ago (it feels like) Julian Assange basically lived in my apartment for a few days.
