Has anyone noticed IGN's complete bias towards the xbox?

If you go on their page you can see multiple misleading titles to make the ps4 features different than they actually are, one even saying it's copied the xbone's used game policy, even the twitter reaction thing they do just lists negatives but the xbox one has loads of positive comments?

Find it very odd especially since the ps4 is blatantly a better console at this stage

Anyone who was watching the live stream pretty much knows that the PS4 hit all the right notes on their presentation. I'd say what really sets the PS4 ahead of the Xbox One is the indie publishing and the lack of required eye tool.

Notice how there was a video for what they were dissapointed about in sony's presentation but not in microsofts, but no definitely not biased at all

I think IGN gave a fair view, but since there is a huge knee-jerk reaction against Microsoft then I guess anything short of setting 360s on fire could be considered bias.

Of course im biased the xbone looks crap, but it's IGN the biggest gaming website on the internet so being biased on one side is a bit stupid and kind of wrong. If thousands of people are looking and judging the companies based on your coverage of the event then it's not ok to be bias

Well, someone from IGN was asked about the next gen on the BBC News today, and he was very heavily in favour of the PS4 over the Xbone.

Other than that, I figure everyone may be a bit biased towards the PS4 at the moment. Yes, I think it's the better console, but not be the country mile people are suggesting. Whilst Microsoft have made bad choices, it's also been manged terribly by their PR department, whilst Sony's has done quite a good job of things.

It's pretty much impossible not to have a bias, and even if you're trying not to, people with their own opinions (such as your good self) will accuse you of being biased because they disagree with you.

It doesn't matter. If you want an Xbox One then pre-order it and enjoy. It's a good system, who cares what anyone else thinks. If it appeals to you then get it. IGN or whatever site or comments you see on the internet shouldn't make you feel like you're losing a battle.

It's about games. No matter how great we say the PS4 is we're not going to give you the $399 - $499 to buy either console ANYWAY. Our opinion shouldn't matter to you. I'm not trying to be mean, but the truth is 'No one cares about You'. Get a Wii U, get them all, do whatever you want. It's okay. Xbox One looks pretty cool, but I just prefer PlayStation. I always have.

What's is there to discuss? These companies have identical ideologies with regard to their customers. You will have to jump through the same hoops and put up with the same bullshit no matter which one you buy. It's all the same with no discernible differences one way or the other.

Or at least that's what MS would like everyone to think. Personally, I'm not willingly submitting to the false equivalencies. There's a fucking chasm of difference between these two consoles right now. THAT is why people are hating on Xbone. THAT is why Sony is suddenly the industry savior (purely by default, mind you). It's not imagined or projected. It's a real goddamn thing happening right in front of us.

But I guess some people can't be bothered to differentiate.

Ign has always called bias by one load of fans or enough. Back in the day they were called sega whores (90's), then Sony c@£k lickers when the Xbox first came out (00's) and now Microsoft bottom kissers. It just seems bias, they ain't though.

Seeing as devs have apparently gone on record to say the PS4 is more powerful, and it clearly has less limitations than the X1, I'd say it's pretty safe to assume that, at this stage, from a technical level, the PS4 is the better console. No bias.

They might of done that on their video player but I don't remember much of Microsoft's press conference as I was distracted by other things and I was using Twitch.
