Agreed, older games have been bugged and glitch on day one of purchase. But in those good old days i would get a refund and the company would take a financial hit. Thing i find annoying these days is whenever a game is broken people seem to accept it and wait for a patch or a modder to fix it. Now granted PC gamers dont have a choice due to no refunds, but its starting to happen with console gaming as well. An its only going to grow.....last game i think was Battlefield (probably others).

But as far as Steam goes, i still use it every now and then, wont ever use early access anyway. I agree with free early access. But charging for it is a disgrace. An just cashing it in from the fans.

Unless early access somehow ruins the experience for other games, no. I always watch someone play said game first before I even look at a game.

I've been console and PC gaming since the 80's. Broken/buggy/glitchy releases have been par for the course for decades.
YOUR SOUNDCAURD WORKS PWEFECTLY! The good old days when game just "works"*

*if you spent the last 3 hours working out why EGA mode isn't on, and hunting down the Addr/Interrupt/DMA of your soundcard. Kids these days got it good.

I can't be the only one in these Steam sales to see a promising looking game come on a daily or flash offer only to click on it and find it an Early Access game.

I really don't agree with the idea of an early access games being sold alongside finished products in the Daily Deals and promoted so heavily - they should have their own separate section of Steam. I just don't like the idea of buying a game and advertising it alongside AAA products.

What do you think of this? It's obviously only become a recent issue with Steam but it's still weird.
One thing you have to keep in mind is that steam changed their policy this year to allow devs to put their own games up for sale. The E.A. games on sale may very well be put on sale by their own devs to gain more visibility for their stuff. I almost bought Kerbal Space Program until i saw the Big blue banner underneath it.
