I hate GTA, buuuuut, whenever driving on the freeway and some assnozzle is holding up the fast lane I want to start crashing into cars. I then imagine the cars I hit float into space... just like the cheat.

Have at any time in the real world has a piece of gaming- whether it is a QTE or just gameplay or anything- affected how you think?

Recently I was watching water run down a furrow in the ground and I thought "I'll just drop sand here to change it's direction and... wait that's From Dust"

Something like that happen to you?
Nope, sorry. Games can't infect. Only affect. And then, only as much as anything in my life.

So really, you could say that - effectively - I'm an amalgamation of many influences, none of them going too deep.

Not games, no, but I always end up disappointed when I realise I can't just 'find' things in real life. I even type ctrl+f on the air subconsciously, as was pointed out to me earlier when looking for white rum (Mojitos!)

well, i always smash or steal anything that isn't tied down, because i'm sort of a n00b at this game and don't know what to do yet. but i'll get there eventually, or wait til someone posts a walkthrough.

I keep looking at buildings and walls in real life and thinking, "I could totally climb that." And I always go rock climbing, so chances are I could actually climb it. And it is really hard to keep myself from actually climbing it. Damn you, Assassin's Creed!!!!!

I once thought after a report about a terrorist attack on the news : 10 kills in one life, that's a good ratio...

then I asked myself wtf was wrong with me

lol here is another one I got. By playing various games with choices of dialogue to attempt to persuade characters. Now I have the habit of focusing on people's face expressions and thoroughly but briefly think about it in the middle of a conversation. The latest game example is Dues EX.

I pay attention to nonverbal communication and base my choice and tone of words on their reaction. So if I ask a question that tends to make someone sit up more straight with a less formal stance, widened eyes and a more relaxed face expression I think in my mind *Ah yes, I am in the right path! + points for me! Ok this person likes these questions, lets focus more on that*.

Its quite helpful with making friends tbh. A habit picked up by games I find useful :p

Everytime I see something shiny I feel the urge to go pick it up. I constantly evaluate everything around me as use as a melee weapon in the event of a zombie apocalypse. I scan nearby buildings for handholds and footholds that would enable me to free-run my way across the rooftops.

Curse you video games. Curse you.

When I moved into my appartment I didn't have internet for 2 weeks. Played Minesweeper in that time. ~8 hours a day.

When I went to sleep or whenever I had an "idle mind" I saw Minesweeper playing itself in my head. Lasted for about a month till it finally stopped.
Honestly, Minesweeper completely destroys your brain.
Had the same with Tetris, though not nearly as bad. (Maybe 2 days long).

I was also thinking about how I would place Portals in the "real world", though those were rather conscious thoughts.
