i have a few (these are all true btw)

one dead weekend i stayed in playing fallout 3 all day on my stealth/melee account and right in the middle of this intense, almost 3 minute sneaking up behind a supermutant fest my friend bursts in and asks if i want anything from the shops ... i immediately pause the game and go **aggressive whispering** "SHHHHH!!! THEY'LL FUCKING HEAR US YOU FOOL!!" .... confused he leaves .. and i just realised my retardation

another time after an assasins creed fest i go over to a friends house and instead of knocking i decide to climb in from his window .... little did i know he wasn't home ... just his dad ... he was pissed, in fact he was SO pissed he pretended not to know me when the police arrived (he didn't call them the neighbour did) LOL these days we just laugh about it

oh and long ago there was a blackout while i was playing silent hill 2 and i screamed like a *****

Well this might not be immersion, but certainly addiction. I played WoW for a few years and once in a while, when I go outside (lol), I sometimes link some ordinary plants/herbs to herbs from WoW. I remember seeing peaceblossom next to a bank...

I have a few good ones i can remember(because i was drinking in a lot of them) that i wish i could forget.

Once after a long night of playing through both manhunt and manhunt2 i thought it would be funny to sneak up on a freind of mine who was hypnotized in the next room by halo 3. I grabbed a knife to give him a good "Jason" scare but when i got up behind him i found the insatiable temptation to stab.Before i realized it my hand was up(in the calasic backstab position)and was ready to roll. Thankfully i'm a tall bastard and my hand hit the fan officialy making me NEVER play manhunt again with company around (and see a therapist).
