One day I started playing Infamous at around 6:00 am.
I stopped at 8:00 pm when my friends asked me if I'd want to hang out with them.
While we were at a fair I felt exhausted because I woke up so early, hence I went to a nearby lightpost and flexed my arms as if I was draining elektricity from it.....
I'm not kidding.
My friends all stared at me (so did the people at the fair) so I pretended my muscles were sore, and ran off 4 seconds later.
I gladly /facepalm myself.

I told my friend to be quiet, when I sneaked in Far Cry 2.
I've done this as well.

Once, after a weekend long bender of Halo 3 with my friends, I tried to lock on & lunge someone when I realized that my crosshair wasn't red, and that I didn't have an energy sword in my hand!

In Half-Life 2, there's a section near the end of chapter 3 where you go into a swamp which was a camp for the rebels. You go through your first encounters with zombies and headcrabs blablabla. Then, at the end your safe. You think. Because you go over a few wooden planks and all of the sudden a zombie pops up from the water! Played it 5 times, it always gets me.

I know I do tons of these things were I carry thoughts from games into real life, but I can't remember any of the funny ones (the frequency of their occurrences diminish their significance to remember).

However I often find myself thinking what the engine allows and such. "Would the developers have thought of this?", "Is there a mechanic for that?", "is there an invisible wall over there?" and so on. A lot like pwk2 wrote, if I fall I can sometimes think: "WTF? This isn't supposed to be able to happen!".

Ya, i have done some bizarre shit because of games.

I have been playing alot of FO3 lately and I am currently living near DC, so I the last time I was walking around the city I find myself trying to use the geography of the game, not actual geography to get around. They are close, but still not quite exact.

Walked into a room, forgot what I was looking for, checked my PipBoy.
Scaring my family members after stealth games because walking silently is just smart when you live in a friendly suburban area.
I'm pretty sure quite a few people have attempted to glance at their minimap/radar.

Different but related: After a computer binge, I was writing a paper and tapped the desk with my left hand, ring-index, trying to hit Ctrl-Z. I did this in public and got a few looks. It didn't bother me as much as the fact that it didn't work. "Ugh, where's my technology when I need it."

Reading a book, again, pinky-index. Trying for Ctrl-F, again frustrated at the low standards tangible mediums have in user-friendliness.

Mostly mine are silly. After replaying MGS3 my roommate and I meowed a lot, expecting backup to appear. Then again I meow randomly.

Whenever there's been a lot of game-playing going on, we all find ourselves having spontaneous LARPing incidents. There's a lot of weapons in my apartment including full metal airsoft guns that we tend to grab and run around pretending to shoot each other with. [I don't let anyone play with the real ones...]

I also do the screaming / throwing things thing when I get scared in a game. :D

Oh DOI, how did I forget this. I held up an invisible shotgun and tried to shoot a guy in a grey hoodie out on the street. What I was doing didn't occur to me until after the 'Osht no shotty' moment. Again that same day I heard someone with your typical smokers cough hacking away. I instinctively turned around and sidestepped. L4D binge ftw. What a terribly long day...

This is pretty funny. I don't live in D.C. but I visited before playing FO3 and it freaked me out a bit, seeing everything destroyed after having been there myself.

I went to a costume party with only a cardboard box. Also, when my brother moved out of the house, he got a cat and named it Snake. Sometimes I yell something about Pokemon, too. "USE QUICK ATTACK, DAMMIT!"

I was having an inFAMOUS binge early in the morning and there was a thunder storm outside, now I didn't know that was going on outside as I was focused on beating kessler on the hardest difficulty (and he is annoying on the medium difficulty) and threw the controller on the floor and shouted in my anger, while I was shouting there was a huge flash outside and then... powercut. Still lost in my little world my brain had lost all touch with science and logic and gave me the idea I may have powers like Cole. So I walked over to the TV and PS3 put my hands on both of them and put all my effort into powering it up, on my way to the stuff I unknowingly shuffled across a fluffy carpet, with wooly socks (it was cold) so a small electric shock came from my finger to the PS3 then I gained the power of science and logic and slumped back onto my chair as I realised what a retard I had been.

Whenever I sneak around in games like Metal Gear or Splinter Cell, I always breathe very slowly and quietly, and whisper about everything. If someone tries to talk to me I always shush them until they too start whispering or just plain go away. Also, after long bouts of Assassin's Creed I always find myself doing parkour-esque moves or making things harder than they should be. An example is instead of just running past a bench or something, I'll instead vault over the thing for no reason.

After a lot of oblivion playing I jumped down the stairs and nearly broke my leg. ( in oblivion jumping down things is much faster than walking)

I was playing Fallout 3 and was in the Dunwich Building (scary stuff). I was at the part with the Scary Obelisk and turned off the music and turned the effects up really loud to hear its weird chanting noise and my little sister taps me on the shoulder asking me if I want a cup of tea. I screamed and threw my controller at the screen.

Not really sure about this, but when I first got my PS2 when ever I held my hands up at about stomach height, always in the shape of my controller.

EDIT: Oh, I think I've probably played Thief 2 barely making any noise in real life, and when I'm holding my breath underwater in-game, I always hold my breath in real-life until...erm...what's-his-face stops holding his.
