What? Was I supposed to notice her "mind" from across a crowded room?
I always find it interesting that people can hold "love at first sight" up on such a pedestal, but admitting you initially approached your SO because they looked good makes you shallow.

Hm... nope, drawing a blank. When it comes to the sex appeal in advertising or box art, if it's high I assume that the sex appeal is inversely proportional to how fulfilling the game experience will be (and from what people who play those games tell me, I'm usually right). If the sex appeal is subdued, I generally buy or don't buy the game for reasons unrelated.

The em guy I'm with. It started years ago, and how he had sex appeal, though he still does, if not more-so now. But yeah thats what started it. His God-damned sex appeal.

...No, actually. Nothing I can think of.

On a side note: What the fuck is up with that Evony game?

The original Mass Effect, because I wanted to chase alien tail, and alien tail I did chase, and I got a pretty good game too.

That's a tad harsh, innit? For the most part, that's the reason why most guys approach girls, regardless of ultimate end. However, to qualify, I'm sure the good Dastardly first approached his other half because she was a looker and stayed because she was intelligent, had a great personality and was good company. I 'unno, but I wouldn't've thought that any guy around here would marry a woman purely because they look good (though I have been wrong before... granted, a lot).

OT: Ehm... drawing a blank here... uh...

Most of the stuff I'm drawn to on grounds of 'sex appeal' are typically viewed with a great deal of trepidation... and generally with good reason. A lot of good films/games etc. I like, I liked originally for reasons other than sex appeal, so they don't really count. So, nothing comes to mind...

No, because, among various other reasons that have already been mentioned, I can just as easily get my kicks from free internet porn. Even things that don't normally seem to have or intend sex appeal in it. Rule 34, man.

Er, that was my point; I'm talking about a contradiction in the minds of your average person. I suppose my sentence is a bit ambiguous. I'll rework it.

Still a messed up sentence, but should be a little clearer.

Same here. I can't really think of anything that I have purchased based solely on sex appeal. The closest I can think of is Skullgirls, but even then, it was everything this game had going that really kept me interested.

YES, you sexist pig.

Also, my answer was previously the same. :p

Well, different wife, obviously.

Gurren Lagann, just the way Yoko dresses
Yoko is too... jiggly for my tastes.

OT: Does Chie from P4 count?

She's cute and has a mighty fine kick. Albeit not as useful as Yukiko, she still holds her own with brute strength.

Never. The more sex appeal in something, the more I'm turned off. Sort of ironic huh?

I'm not really sure if this is the same thing but the only reason I heard about the Witcher game is because someone was telling me about the whole sex card thing. Now I didn't buy the game because of that but I wouldn't have looked it up in the first place if I had not heard about that whole sex appeal aspect.
