Its funny now because its satire. It was funny back then because it was gross-out. Win win to me buddy.

It's had a few missteps in the last two seasons but when they hit it right it is wicked funny. So no they still got "it".

I just got into south park like a month ago and since then i have seen all the episodes. I found that south park changes a little by trying to be less and less PC as time went on. Which is always a good laugh. BTW SP is not racist or insulting because then insult everyone

It's still very good - I watch episodes from all different series non-chronologically all the time, and there's no split in quality between the newer and older ones.

No that just means they're consistent. The fact that its hugely satirical sort of excuses everything though. Similar to Little Britain.

This season has been a very big miss in my opinion, soon like Family Guy I'll just stop watching it all together.

I couldn't stop laughing at the "The F Word" episode.

"GAYS AGAINST F*GS!!" was priceless. And gays bashing Harley riders.

Oh god. I just watched a new SP episode. Wow, has it ever lost it's uniqueness.

The show has done away with its little quirks like Kenny dying each episode, and all the characters are completely 2 dimensional. The characters just seems like empty vessels for finding fault with societies minor issues.

Honestly, I thought it was still OK, but on watching the new season it seems like the most generic, contrived attempt at topical humour that rarely ever makes a real joke. Instead it just ridicules stereotypes by exaggerating certain traits and then just hammering away at that portrayal until it gets a laugh, regardless of any wit or semblence of considered humour. It is just excess and absurdity. It isn't even creative.

I can't believe I used to love this show, it's so soulless now. I didn't laugh once, and none of the characters felt like actual school kids experiencing strange things. I think at one point atleast, the kids were used as innocents to critique adult society similar to Calvin and Hobbes, but now they are just adult personalities, reacting in adult ways to simply ridiculous situations, only in childrens bodies.

It is not funny, and it makes me angry that people say this is better than it used to be. It is simply not funny. Fart jokes there may have been in past episodes, but along with that was real humour. If you are laughing at south park now, I'm sorry to say that your idea of humour is lower than fart jokes. Call it a parody, but I atleast expect a parody to be funny.

I didn't really like it much at the start, but It grew on me.

Although there are episodes which are complete rubbish and episodes that will make you choke on your own laughter, for example like many people have said the whale episode.

I nearly pissed myself when the Japanese took out the Miami Dolphins. (I think that's their name.)

Are you joking? Seriously, are you? South Park is only getting BETTER. After the slump it went through in the middle seasons it's picked up again and is only climbing higher. Right now... it's probably funnier than Family Guy again.

Definitely not. In my opinion South Park has gotten better. The loss of Chef kinda sucked, but its still an awesome show that I always enjoy watching.

I'm glad that they removed the stupid endings to most of the shows, where one of the kids says "Hey, I've learned something today...". That ending always got on my nerves and seemed like such a poor way to wrap up the end of the show.

I don't think it has gotten bad, maybe it's not just as shiny as it once way, but it hasn't died..
