There has never and will never be a perfect game.

Also, I disagree with every single one of your choices of near perfect games (not saying they're bad, just that I don't like 'em).

Well, what constitutes a perfect game is completely subjective, so I'd have to say the perfect game is the first game you played and absolutely adored. No matter what comes after it, nothing's ever going to live up to the memory of that amazing game.

For me, it's Kingdom Hearts. I play through it at least once a year, and it still gives me chills. I never quite recaptured that sense of amazement and wonder I had when I played it for the very first time, but to me, it's still very much a perfect game.

No, there will never be a perfect game.

People will always find flaws in the best of games.

They will still be good, just not perfect.

NO. Nothing is perfect. Not only that but perfect is just an opinion and since evertyone's opinion is different as game can never be universally perfect, only perfect to some people and nobody cares if someone else thinks a game is perfect.

Valve have produced the nearest-to-perfect games that I've played. If there ever will be a perfect game, I bet it'll be from them.

It is imposible because technichaly one glich, no matter how miniscule would stop a game from being perfect. Even if you couldn't care less about the glich and the rest of the game was pure gold, it still wouldn't be perfect.

I don't think there can ever be a perfect game. For me the best games are those that were an experience first, entertainment second and these games are often far from perfect but at the same time for a few brief moments they are.

Shenmue 1 and 2.
Homeworld.
Orcarina of Time (especially experiencing the opening title screen the first time).
MGS4.
Sonic Adventure (Experiencing Emerald Coast for the first time was pretty perfect...then I discovered water was instant death).
Sonic Adventure 2 (Final Hazard, Live and Learn. Imo the series ended there. Pretty perfect ending when I think about it).
