Hate for Canada

Why do people always make fun of Canada? It actually looks like a fine place to live, statistically speaking.

I DO make fun of its Southern brother, (ironically) North America. But then everyone does that.

Every country is mocked in some way or another, in the end - its just what people do for a laugh.

I've been to Canada before and I thought it looked like a pretty decent place. I don't know why people always make fun of it, it has BIOWARE!

I've always found that the whole Canada/ America thing can be relatable to our New Zealand/ Australia thing. Because we're so close it's just a bit of friendly competition, nothing too bad.

I live in Holland so the whole Canada jokes are lost on me.

We make fun of belgium, though. That's our "Canada".

OT: Actually I love Canada, I lived there for two years when I was younger and grew up about 10 miles from the border.

I don't get it either. It seems so nice.

If I was to move to another country, it would probably be Canada. Seems a nice place to live - one of the more stable countries, also appears to have a reasonably similar attitude to Australia. Plus I have a British citizenship, which I believe means it would be very easy to move there (to live) if I wanted to.
