My pick is the pom pom hat.

I wish I could wear them year-round. Luckily I live in an area where the pom pom season lasts about 7 months every year.
Hat twins!

I have a burgundy one and a grey one.
I don't get to wear them as often as I'd like though because when I walk places I tend to have my headphones on and I hate wearing them over my hat.

I would love a cloche hat.
Wow, that hat is amazing, like, I'm not even being threatened into telling you how awesome that hat is.

I'm a fan of berets - not the French kind, the proper kind. Almost anybody can pull off "The Look" with one of those on, they come in all sorts of flashy colours and if you feel really lucky, you can stick your favourite pins and badges on the front and be the talk of the town!

...A watchman's cap, however, is what I actually wear to keep my head warm in this climate.

Matt's Punisher cap exploded in awesomeness when he revealed it could be used as a ski mask.
My poofy hair dictates I cannot wear my Monster energy beanie without it constantly popping off, so the only hat I really wear is a Chamillitary ball cap.

Although I'm quite a fan of this hat, apparently it can also be classified as heavy armour:

Well, I think my top choice for a hat would be the bowler hat. I think it looks adorable on girls and it looks even better in girls who wears glasses so kudos for me. I think I'll buy one for winter and a coat to go with it. Yet, I have a lot of hats and never wear them more than once so it might not be such a good idea at all.
Anywho, for men and women alike the bowler hat gives an air of distinction (plus, it makes me think of Watson in classic Sherlock Holmes).

As a Sherlock fan my second choice for a hat would be the deerstalker.

Military berets are soon fucking badass, if our police force used them I'd join the police

What? I can't heckle a Daystar thread that isn't about food...

Damnit.

I'm all about the basic Baseball cap right now, specifically ones I've gotten from filming volunteering to film charity events. I also have a selection of toques due to a childhood full of blizzards.

Out of what has been posted here so far, I do like Military berets but I could never pull it off. I'm yet to find the hat that suits me yet.

This rugged and worn piece of imported Aussie goodness is my headwear of choice. At least when I'm hiking, or working the fields.

I also wear it in town, because screw what everyone else thinks! Atleast it'll teach the fedora-gang what a proper hat looks like, amirite?

I'm all about those flat caps. Only hat I don't look terrible in.
I've been told I have a "nose" for flat caps. Not sure if compliment but I took it as one cuz I'm so starved for attention.

My hair is waaayyy too thick and poofy for hats though. Can't get the damn things to stay on my head.

Hey as long as you don't wear it with a long coat and sonic shirt....

...actually it does go with a dryzabone style raincoat (or a duster I think..as the anericans call them) ...though wearing all that when it's not raining would be akin to wearing a costume, but ultimately it doesn't matter, as long as it goes

Hat twinsies, yay! I use earbuds just because I can't stand the idea of parting from my hat.
That cloche hat looks sweet. I kinda have aversion to "hard" hats because I look like a moron in them. I think that's why I can't make french berets work either... they are like semi-hard hats and it's just too much for my head.

Loving this thread

So lovin' it

Just got finished with a 2 hour stretch of TF2 and this is hatgasm.

Makes me yearn to wear a hat, and I have a few, but I always have a headset on which makes it sort of awkward.

I think I would want... a flatcap. Yessir!

A fine hat my good man. I wear a similar one myself, though mine is newer and shinier looking, with less of the rugged beauty of many years of out-door work use.

Your post has left me wondering, what is a "fedora-gang"? My Goggle imaging system has yielded these two results:

This rather stylish posse:

And this group of pajama wearers:

Are groups similar to these what you are referring to?

My Goodness! What do such people do?

I haven't seen anything so dispicable for Donky's Years (captcha).

I hate to sound like a hipster, but I was into fedoras before it was a trend.
I hear you there, I use to wear one all the time, for nine years. Then internet assholes ruined it for everyone, but on the bright side I discovered my one true hat love in my top hat, so I can't be too upset.
I'm with you two, I've been wearing fedoras and trilby's for years, then the hipsters ruined everything!

I also wear a pork pie hat, a beat up cowboy hat (the hats beat up, not that I beat up a cowboy for it!) and I like the beanie that came with the collectors edition of Infamous: Second son

So many nice hats, but I only wear two different kinds...

One for summer, the Boonie Hat, because my neck & face would fry in the summer without it.

One for winter, a simple Stocking cap, sock hat, beanie, whatever you want to call the awesome warm things.

Yeah hats are just a useful thing for me...
