A second language? That's quite ordinary for us danes, even to have a third one.

Well, I grew up bilingual, so I can speak both English and German. I'm also learning French and Italian. xD

I learned French at school but I've forgotten most of it. I know a small amount of Cantonese which my family speak, but not enough for a full conversation.

Tengo dos idiomas, Inglés y Espanol.
Hooray for the school system's mandatory second language scheme. Would have much rather done German or Japanese but the only choices were French or Spanish. :\

I'm American so knowing or even wanting to learn a new language is rare. I'm currently learning Japanese and am actually posting this on my last day visiting Japan.

I can speak SOME Spanish, but forgot most of it. Also, I'm thinking of taking a refresher course in college along with 1 or 2 other languages so I can brag about knowing 3 or 4 languages be prepared.

English isn't my native language but I speak it very reasonable (spelling sucks a bit now and than). I can speak a bit of French. Germans would probably understand me too cause Dutch is a Germanian language.

I can handle my own in a conversation in French but I otherwise stick to L'Anglais.

It's always funny hearing dutch on tv, seeing how I am German and I can only understand certain words. xD

I'm an advocate of learning Latin from a young age, it'll help you learn different languages as you grow up.

I speak French and English Fluently.
I can speak spanish Fluently providing I'm out in Spain, since I don't get to practise.

My second language would be English, then French and in a couple of months I'll start learning Russian.

I was taught French at school but forgotten the majority of it. I really wanted to learn German but so far not so good. I have a decent understanding of basic Japanese however.

Well in school I'm learning Spanish and Latin, but by myself I've pretty much learned Japanese.
