I feel like I see things a lot differently because of the way me and my friends joke around. For example, It's impossible for me to look at the word therapist and not see "the-rapist"

Or, when someone yells "Come on!" I think or say "my chest" as if they said "cum on..."
That's just the way me and my friends joke around, and now if Im anywhere, I still think of these things. In school, home, and (dare I say it) church.....lol

Anyone else feel this way?

My friends do that all the time, but I would like to relate this feeling to movies, so I will.

My Friends legitimately like Transformers 2, so they have tainted my view (I loathed it; it wasn't as bad as Double Dragon, but kind of boring), they have tried to say that it isn't a good movie, but the Writer's Strike didn't help.

They win this round.

I have taken on quite a few speech traits and minor habits from my friends.

Hell, ever since meeting my girlfriend, I find myself adding the word "bitches!" to the end of statements.
(IE: FLASHBANG, BITCHES!!! When tossing one in alan Wake to kill a whole swarm of enemies at once.) I never used to do that, and she does it quite often, so I think I learned it from her. :p

I'm pretty sure I've influenced my friends a lot. I've got them laughing like Heavy, thinking beards and lumberjacks are amazing, and swearing a lot, among other things. Not sure if I've got anything off them though...

Couple all that with the fact that, according to my teachers, putting me into a group of students makes them focus and work better, and I'm fairly sure I'm either Revan or the Exile.

I'm sure I didn't used to be this crude...

..then again, that'll happen when your friends take your every sentence and turn it into an innuendo.

So, yes. My friends have tainted my view.

Before college, I was incapable of picking up on any innuendos or anything. Now I'm the first to throw out a "That's what she said!" or whatever. I have my friends to thank for that. I used to get "You're so sweet and innocent!" Now I get "You seem so sweet and innocent...until sex comes up and you open your mouth."

Absolutely. I can't say that my views have been 'tainted' per se but I have adopted a lot of their expressions and sayings and vice versa. They're not all socially acceptable but I'm cool with that.

Happiness = Hi Penis

Yea my awesome wife gave me that one.

Though usually I am the one corrupting others with my twisted mind.

Not tainted, just made more funny.

Like adding "From behind" to everything to make it sound dirtier. Wuhahaha xD

I do use some expressions coined by my friends, for instance saying "Fuckaxe" instead of "Fuck's sake" (apparently that was started by a misspelling on a forum). I don't care if my friends don't like, say, a video game, but if there's a negative review of it my view is instantly tainted.

Yeah, happens all the time. I've noticed it quite a lot over the past year or so, that when someone in my usual group of friends starts saying something everyone will eventually be saying it.

i do that to my friends.
i think i'm close to driving my friend to overcompensating his (claimed, i mean, he is setting them up->) heterosexuality the amount of gay jokes he sets me up for...

Our group of friends is pretty small and tight-knit, so we are our own bad influence. Somehow, it works quite well.

My boyfriend says I ruin songs for him.
I'm hard of hearing and sometimes my brain will hear completely the wrong words.
It usually happens when the radio is on in the car.
The only example I can think of was last time, it was some nickelback song (I dont know which one) but I thought he sang `Leave old bitches in the past`.

Thanks to my friends I find myself adding a lot of random nonsense to my sentences. Common offenders: durka, malla, and ullullullullull.

Yeah my friends are weird...

Saying Mothafucka every time I hit an enemy. Like, headshot mothafucka! out loud. Yay, thanks Steve.

I tend to pick up small speech habits like saying KK for ok from friends

One friend almost made me hate Madoka Magika becasue he would not shut up about it.
