Short answer: not exactly
Long answer: Half the problem the people who left had was the the 'pist got bigger; the other half was that the website wasn't prepared for it, not quite. In hindsight (for me, at least) there were a lot of problems, mostly trolls who thought they were the shit. There are still a lot of problems, but they're a fraction of what they were when you left.
On the other hand, the 'pist has gotten much,
much bigger. A lot of problems persist, but they aren't nearly as bad. People, as they do in reasonably large societies, seem to have split themseves into different...things. Cliques, I guess. The effect is that it doesn't seem nearly as large.
Ultimately, the choice whether or not to be here is yours. It's not what it was when you came, but it's not what it was when you left, either.
