have u ever been banned from a video game?

Well, I technically quit first, but after trying to log in once later it turns out my WoW account got hacked and later banned. On the other hand I never felt the addiction that WoW seems to give some people.

The people who think they are "addicted" to wow are lesser minded. Mostly because they believe any shit (the shit being the "fact" that wow is addictive) out there someone in a labcoat spews out has to be true. They're wearing a labcoat aren't they?

Nope. I try to avoid being an asshole...its not easy.
OH and I avoid games that have dedicated servers or server listings (one reason why I don't play tf2 and CS:S). I hate dedicated servers and server listings.

I totally agree avoiding being an asshole or at least sounding like one is rather difficult, I really try to make points without just offending people, but it only works out sometimes. I'm not totally sure what you're referring to about labcoat-wearing fellows though, I think your train of thought skipped a segment of explanation

I got banned from Runescape because me and my friend made up some bogus religion and we tried to convert people. For Club Penguin i got banned because i tried to convert people to communism(i have no idea it was just for kicks)

You should have claimed freedom of religion for the first, and claim political freedom for the second.

And no I've never been banned, I've never been able to come up with a good enough troll, and most games I play all the time I'd rather not get banned from.

I've gotten kicked from a Halo PC server before for griefing; granted, that was a LONG time ago. But damn was it fun.

I got banned from MW2 for "hacking" when in reality i took the time to learn the levels and people do the same thing every time so it was easy to shoot at a wall by a sniper point and tell if someone was there (the bullet makes a different impact sound) and i could rack up kill streaks by camping on top of a building in wasteland and sniping people when they come around the two corners (no one ever came through the middle tunnels for some reason)

I was banned in a game of killing floor because I said "gentlemen" in reference to the spy, and one girl who was the admin apparently, thought I was sexist before I had a chance to retort. Banned before I could reply >.>

Never from an entire game. Years ago, playing Jedi Outcast I got banned from a server for slaughtering an admin who was running around with cheats slaughtering other players. Idk why, that was the first time I got on that server and he was killing us.

Oh God, Jedi Outcast was horrible for that. It only got worse as time went by with the rise of "honor" servers. Basically admins would subvert Free For All servers and make up all kinds of bullshit rules about not allowing players to kill each other unless they were dueling (why these people didn't just go to official Duel servers is beyond me). The worst part was that most of these admins would abuse their powers to indiscriminately kill players, yet would still ban them on the spot if they tried the same thing.

I seriously think they accelerated the death of JO's multiplayer community through their hypocritical ways. The "honor" servers multiplied like viruses and quickly dominated the FFA scene. A few of us diehards clung to the CTF servers for a while, but the damage had been done. So many players had been burned by the "honor" experience that they had quit outright.

On a related note, I was banned a few times from these "honor" servers simply because I wanted to actually play the game and kill opponents. I was also temporarily banned from a TF2 server because I had the audacity to play an Engineer during the Engineer update. Can't say I've ever been banned from playing a game outright though.

also got banned for an unknown reason from A minecraft free build sever was minding my own busness buliding a glass castle when bam I am kicked

Was booted from a party in Vindictus for saying Juno Eclipse is a useless character. They thought I was talking about their character class. Also was refused a revive by a teammate for playing the game but apparently not the way they had wanted me to.

Was banned from Xbox Live for like 2 weeks because people had somehow got me for glitching a game when I don't usually glitch just got really good at GoW.

I got kicked from a Gmod server for spawning a bunch of toilets, after a map change that erased all of my progress with a contraption.
I was pissed, mostly because we had to change after a Mingebag almost crashed the server.

I was once automatically thrown out of game of hardcore Black Ops after I accidently killed three of my own teammates (one ran infront of me, one was partly behind a wall and meant I couldn't see the green letters, a third from one of my gernades).
