I tried

BUT it's REALLY hard

like near impossible

that sniping level on vendetta

seriously there is no clear shot him ever

anyway i've seen a few people who somehow out of a miracle managed to complete it on veteran

and they all said

"it's not hard"

Bullshit !! completeing COD5 on veteran is as frustrating as playing Ninja Gaiden 2 with one hand and having to play super mario Bros wih the other..

so

have you ?

if so how ?

and please give a few tips...

I have. Tips. There aren't any. It's pure luck really. Those fuckers at the Riechstad were throwing grenades under my ass who was hiding in a place where there was no damn clear grenade throw at me.

It is very fucking hard and frustrating. I am surprised I have not deleted the damn thing before I finished it.

The best tip I can give is in the US campaign, use smoke grenades as often as possible. They're the best shit out there.

In the Russian campaign, stick to the fucker who yells like an idiot.

In both campaigns, keep your ass down, keep moving from cover to cover.

I made it to the U.S. mission where you start with a Browning and a trench gun, and got overly frustrated.

Yeah, the sniper part in Vendetta was hard and frustrating, but I got it after a half dozen tries or so. For me, the most frustrating part was the burning house in that level.

If you stay in one spot for more than ten seconds, expect to get pelted with grenades. This was especially evident in CoD 4 when waiting for evac in One Shot One Kill...stay in that booth and you can have 8+ grenade indicators. When an enemy is within firing distance, you WILL get a grenade thrown at you. And often you will be hit by the grenade itself.

im have completed the first 6 missions on On Veteran, if Your having a Problem with that Sniper, use that wall at the top of the stairs as cover, keep your veiw on the First window you can see, dont try and fight him with any other windows then that, with him using All the Windows he will pop out and you will die without ever seeing him, be ready to fire and move left or right out of his shot, i have fired, killed him and been killed by his shot before ,Have Patience, Completing any level on vet Is Tedious and has Equal Parts of long range Sniping of troops, ducking of Cover And running up and taking things out as well as Requiring planing if something your doing isent Working, also Mastering the throw back grenade button will be helpful

I did COD5 on Veteran, and the sniping mission is one of the easiest I'm afraid.
Tips:
-Practice the zoom in and out to lock onto targets, saves time to micro manage the aiming to the head.
-If you hear/see a 'Nade heading your way or near you Fall Back! There will be more than one of them.
-Never stay in the same cover for too long, reason see above tip.
-Smoke 'Nades are your friend against MGs. They work, trust me.
-The enemy will aim for you and you only if you are visable.
-Never knife unless you have to, they can kill you in a short burst of fire
-Most parts of the game will run out of enemies after a while, but there are some parts where you have to push forwards to move the level, if there is, sprint to the point and sprint back, your men will pick off the rest to that point.
-If you get support abilities use them! They only cost time and can save your limited stock of 'Nades.
-Get some luck, you will need it.

Edit: If you need help on a certain mission, just PM me, save forum space :)

No, your right it's not CoD5, its just easier than typing CoD:WaW. So let it slide.
Another Tip
-Don't become attatched to your starting weapons, you'll save the frustration if you swap your weapons for the enemies, you will find amunition for it anywhere. (M2 Flamethrower you should keep)
-It is wiser to run from the 'Nades rather than throw them back, if there are 2 or more lying at your feet and you throw one, say good bye to your shoes.
-You will die... lots. If your loosing your cool, just pause and walk away for a while. Not really a in game tip, but it beats rage quiting and finding out later that you were over half way.

I've gotten to Eviction. I havn't bothered in awhile because every time I try to continue from a checkpoint it says there's an error and I have to start the whole fucking mission from the beginning again.

It's the 5th in the Call of Duty series. Yeah, it's not by IW, but it's the 5th game with the title "Call of Duty:____" How is that not COD5?

That said, I gave up on this game pretty quickly. I'm almost totally sick of WW2 shooters at this point unless they are doing something really innovative. I find this to be pretty typical, and a lot like COD2 and 3. That doesn't hold my attention...although I'll probably beat it at some point just to say I have since I do like FPS.

The most annoying thing in any game I have ever done. Its basically camping for 30 minutes and trying to move your team forward. I am pretty happy about my platinum trophy but I don't think its worth the bother.

Ive beat CoD4 on all settings but the WaW single player bores me. I hate how it doesnt matter how much crap or how many allies are around you if you pop your head up everyone shoots at you. It was just boring.

Ive played plenty of Hardcore multiplayer though.

I'm trying but it's insanely frustrating. The enemy single you out and will happily go miles out of their way to shoot you. I've seen a Nazi soldier run past 3 of my allies, on multiple occasions, just to get to me. But still, I shall keep trying, I'll get there eventually.

After killing the super sniping Nazi in vendetta and ding again and again in the rest of the mission I said fuck it and stopped bothering. No trophy is worth going through that, I could just imagine what the last level would have been like.

At the moment, I cannot pass reichstag. I got caught on about 6 other levels where I thought I would never get by, but I eventually did, maybe by sheer luck, who knows. Just keep pushing through, and be very slow moving forward. As for tips, smoke grenade whenever you have the chance, those babies are lifesavers.

You are amazingly helpful

like so helpful to the point where you motivated me to try and go do veteran again

and thanks for the tips

they all seem so obvious now

take cover, a lot. COD5 is probably the easiest to me in terms of difficulty. COD3 was much much more difficult.

ehh i could proably do it. but i find the game boring and repetive. (its easier then cod 4. hundreds of machine guns fireing at you dosent compare to a few bolt action rifles)
