This is about both the good and the bad. My brother became addicted to a certain gem and now my mom thinks i am doing the same. His grades suffered. But my grades are honor roll. I come home and do my homework and work on projects watch TV and then go downstairs to play video games. Yet my mom thinks i am falling into a bad habit because my grades have been improving. BUT I didn't make my bed.
So have you ever been compared to your siblings in a good or bad context. Explain

Considering we ARE related, I'm constantly told how much I'm like my brother.
yes but explain if it was ever in a bad or good situation
AAAAaah. >.> I see what you did there.

My brother and I are compared by looks. He's got a unibrow, unshaven face, acne-ridden, and smells funky (I wish it was all made up ). Doesn't like extravagant t-shirts, if he could, he'd wear the same thing everyday. Me, on the otherhand, hardly every wear ANYTHING but black, the occasional tight pants (wearing now, actually), black converse, and black jackets/hats. Clean, baby face with groomed eyebrows and virtually no acne (minus forehead, damn you hair) and a smile on my face.

I'm supposedly not, but when an ex-teacher said, Oh, he's so good with his science and maths, shame to waste it working in a shop, I realised I must be. Because I was equally good and she didn't say I was wasting my abilities, so she must have thought he was better.

My brother and I look very similar, sound alike, and both have names starting with the letter "J." People mistake us for twins even though I am two years older than him, fatter and shorter. It's bad when your closest family often mistakes one for the other, even when most teachers can tell the difference.

Where we differ is in compliance. I'm the Good son, he is more defiant.

Mostly just looks, I am the youngest and people are always telling me I look like my older brother (especially his friends that meet me.)

Yeah, I've been compared to/confused with my older brother more times than I can count. Hell, while I was in high school, I was only mainly known as "X's brother" until he graduated two years later.

And I HATED it.

I'm almost constantly told how similar my younger brother looks to me. It irritates me to no end, seeing as I despise the irritating little blighter.

My parents tend to compare my little sister to me alot. Mostly the whole "your brother was better than you" thing, makes me feel sorry for her.

I almost feel sorry for my brother. I've always been the one people look up to -- the older one with a legacy to uphold and such.

So yes, and always referred to as the more superior one.

All the time, Good and bad and sometimes neither.
I grew my hair long after my brother grew his hair long and well, Apparently I'm copying him.
Same goes with Games and Computers, Although with music I copied him on a few things when I was younger, Like SOAD and MSI ( Back in 1999).
But I act nothing like him, I love debating people, I'm Twisted and sick at times and then I'm kind and caring, My brother is Angry or pissy and is very shy.
Me and my brother Both share the first letter of our name 'S' so it gets annoying with Mail and that.
To be honest, I don't think any siblings wont get compared to eachother.. Unless they are split up, and if they are and they parents compares them in a bad way, Childhood scarring will occur!

In appearance, yes, my sister and I are somewhat alike. In other things, there is a comparison, but usually because I'm considered the responsible one, with the confidence to go and do something with my life, or something. So there's a bit of "Why can't you do this? Your sister did"
