If a game is to hard or to easy i sometimes hope that it will end. A good example is S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear sky. It was just too hard for me and i was realy glad when it finaly ended.
Have you ever been glad when a game you played ended?

Eternal Sonata.
I really enjoyed the combat, but the story line was so pretentious and awful that I just wanted all the terrible monologues, juvenile philosophy, and unlikeable characters to end. Ugh.

You know it's funny, when I don't like a game, I generally don't play it through to the end.

Must be just me.

FFVII, since it wasn't a game that I particularly enjoyed(!!), but I was determined to see it through, in case it did manage to improve in my estimation... it didn't.

Usually I'm relieved when you get to the end of a game, and the cutscenes roll, especially when it's been a long-ass final battle. Case in point: FFVIII.

I have a habit of concentrating on the story a lot, but subtly the gameplay can get worse and worse until I'm really frustrated, but won't stop because I'm so draw in by the story. So at the end I'm really glad I finished, and really glad I can play something else now.

Any game that has an extra mission tacked on the end, that's a game i'm glad to finish, like the COD series has a few of those >_> and just about every Gameboy/DS game EVER

'nuff said.
No, please expand?

OT: Halo Combat Evolved. I finished just as I was getting bored of the combat, so it was great timing.

I was glad to see the credits roll in Bioshock, I liked the game but the intensity was getting to me at the end. I could only play it for about an hour at a time and was glad to have finally completed it.

Alot of times actualy.

Some games got this super easy mode and it just get boring or your just too good and beat the crap out of the bad guys but then the story is kinda interesting and you wanna see the end.

I think the most common factor to see a game final is when there lots of cutscenes. Good ones at that. Or even short movies between chapters thats usualy my main reason to play until the end if the game itself doesnt make me want to.
Sometimes even good games gameplay goes to the background just cuz im in a hurry to see the next super duper cutscene ^_^

Gears 2. It was an awesome campaign, but too much of anything, no matter how awesome, is too much.

Assassin's Creed. I had to play through it in a couple days, and the middle section was so excruciatingly tedious that I was just relieved to see the game finally start to wind down.

Original Stalker: shadow of Chernobyl was another train-wreck of an ending. 90% of the game is one kind of experience. A really good one. That last 10% is just player torture. "Sniper got you. Oh, he got you again. Oh, man, you really can't see that guy can you?"

Far Cry 2 is another great pick for a game that turned into a death march.

You actually finished that game? I never made it past the fucking train level.
OT: FFVII. I was bored with it by the time I reached the crater, but I was determined to see it through to the end.

Assassins Creed
Also, Ape Escape, but because I wanted to see the end (also, for the record, the UK voice actors were all the crappiest 'cept the proffessor and an AWESOME spectre) because it was so enjoyable for child-me
