I'm just wondering if you have ever heard a song that makes you cry or at least shed a few tears.

For me there are only 2 songs:
Adagio For Strings by Samuel Barber. Either the Choral version or the original.

Original: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KkObnNQCMtM&feature=fvw

And Benedictus by Karl Jenkins.

Porcelain by Moby is a pretty damn sad song, but more recently probably some of Yann Tiersens stuff.

Never by a song, but I was quite sad both times Brett Dennen's Ain't No Reason was playing in Scrubs and House

No, and I am leaning towards that if your crying to a song, then you're having that time of the month, or something horrible just happened to you, and thus on edge, easily pushed.

Actually when was the last time I cried...

Oh when I was recreating the iron giant in Gmod, with wire mod, and a day after I finished it, my save was corrupted. That made me cry for 10 seconds, as 3 months work just went down the drain...

Never understood why some people do either

Films perhaps or maybe books but a 3 minute song? hmmm....
Well I suppose I did hear Benedictus at a funeral so that could have contributed but it and Adagio For Strings are just such beautiful music.

It's most likely due to association. It might remind them of someone they love/miss or it might just mean something special to them.

Why does my heart feel so bad? - Moby.
Because my grandmother died while this song was playing, my mother was always in tears and it made me sad to see it.

After all these years - Silverchair
The day I arrived at my grandfathers house for the first time since hearing he had cancer. I bawled my eyes out.

Viva Forever - Spice Girls (Yes, Spice Girls)
Just makes me cry because I instantly think of my grandfather.

When you're gone - Avril Lavigne
See above.

I'm sure I could list a few others, but these are the most recent to make me cry. I was close to my grandparents, so if I cry it is for that reason. I wasn't there when my grandmother passed away, which is probably why thoughts of her don't affect me so much.

EDIT: Pink - Who Knew
