Nope, although I have been filled with a sense of overwhelming awe listening to a few classical pieces.

Adagio for Strings

Fake Plastic Trees

Song of Healing

Any song from Silent Hill. Promise and Sadness are the two main ones.

Kairi's Theme from Kingdom Hearts. Reminds me of my best childhood friend. Her name was actually Kairi and she was the only friend I had for years and when I moved away, I never saw her again.

Me and two of my friends were coming back from band practice, in a car, and listening to Tenacious D on the way home. My mom called me, crying, saying that her father, my grandad, had died. So now, when I hear this song, I start thinking of my grandad, and well.. yeah.
The whole deal is sad and funny at the same time. Somewhat ironic for a pisstake song to bring a tear to my eye, especially when it's a parody of songs that try to make you cry...

The music video doesn't make it any less tragicomic.

So this is weird, but I always thought my dad looked a bit like Eric Clapton. Then my dad died, and not long after that, i listened to "tears in heaven." Fucking waterworks.

For a few of the same reasons, "Dead Man's Will" by Iron & Wine and Calexico had much the same effect.

I've had nostalgic single-tears from various themes and/or well-known orchestral songs.

The only time a song did it was when I first saw footage of my country's flag being raised with our anthem playing. It was amazing.
