A couple times in group shots for things like school, but my dad shows up a lot, because he works for the Man.

Specifically, he writes grants, and then talks about them on occasion.

I'm wondering if this thread shouldn't actually be entitled "Hey! I was on TV!!!"

I was on a show called "As Schools Match Wits", a 4 vs. 4 local panel quiz show. Strangely, each team member had a specialty. Mine was bloody history. Fortunately, almost all history is bloody.

Oh, and I'm American, so i must have imagined it.

Not on tv, but I was in the newspaper of my old town for playing DDR downtown during a yearly festival the city had by the riverfront. Bands would come out and perform all up and down broadway and people would be selling random trinkets. My friends and I decided to haul a computer and two metal ddr pads downtown and play ddr (and let others play as well). Made decent money via tipjar and drew a lot of crowds.

Apparently I was on TV when AS results were given out. It was nothing more than me walking past the camera though.

Few times, I did a documentary on biodiversity for the BBC NI and you might see me bobbing about in the background of a few episodes of Time Team and a few BBC NI news reports

I went to a famous school called Summerhill, and moreover I was there during a big court battle which the media got quite interested in. So I've been on TV a bunch of times, mostly documentaries and local news (yeah, I was on fucking Look East, it doesn't get much better than that.) In fact, I was interviewed by a Korean filmcrew last month, so I'll be on KTV soon.

Wrong G Man, he works for the government. The new york state government, in a very boring job.

Me and my friends won the movie award for our age group in our town. A TV station filmed the event, so it was kind of cool I suppose. Other than that, only the occasional interview in the city.

I was on a quiz show where local high school teams were pitted against each other. It was called Reach for the Top.

I also had a championship soccer game that I played in televised on the local cable channel way back when. We lost. Thanks for that memory. LOL!

I was interviewed years ago outside the downtown Opera House. I dunno why, but the woman with the mike asked me about Religion and it's impact in school. Caught me off guard I must say.

I was on James May's Toy Stories; the Scale Elextrics one. He's actually a twat in real life; boring, and he hates children.

Sounds like a resonable bloke.

I hate children, too. Everyone responds to that with "you were one too", and I respond with "I don't give a shit".

Then again, my nickname at school was May for a reason.

I've never been on TV though. I don't think so, anyway.
