Louis doesn't count. He's not a real person with real feelings like us.

Not even in jest/ ironically - just because you don't intend it offensively doesn't mean it won't be taken as such.
This. I'm never ever racist. Only if the offending person in question is a douchebag enough to warrant being called a ******/gook/whatever the cuss is for each skin color.

I left a racist comment on a youtube video once.
But that was a quote from that "We didn't start the flamewar" song so I stand by my "ironic" justification...

Only when I'm satirically mocking racist people that I encounter online, so it doesn't count, as I always ensure everyone involved DOES know that I'm joking. I despise racists, and anyone that discriminates against someone else for no good reason.

I crack the occasional racist joke IRL, what with half of my campus being made up of Asians, all of whom have sweet cars and apparently no idea how to not drive them into stuff... But I avoid it online, as people get pissy without bringing in something as touchy as race or ethnicity.

I've made one or two racist jokes on the internet. Someone got mad that in on the intros to a Youtube video I played part of a video with Slick, a black manager from 80's WWF who's character was for all intent and purpose a Pimp. People that watched my videos for a while got the reference I was making by including him in the video, but some people got hung up on the fact that in the video he was eating fried chicken.

Someone called me racist for putting it in there, and I retaliated with something along the lines of:
"It's not my fault a black man was eating chicken, from what I hear it happens all the time."

It succeeded in making him angry so I was happy :) Never heard from him again.

Sometimes I'll correct someone's grammar only learn they were using proper grammar in AAVE (African American vernacular English). Whoops.

not really i have no ism's of any kind and anything i ever say is always in jest.
like joking about Louis eating kfc or dieing first to him running quicker than everyone cause he's black.
but i generally only really make stereotypical jokes with people who are like me and don't really have any ism's. There's one or 2 in my clan including myself who hurl abuse at each other and every now and then we might call each other jew or something, but I'm more making fun of the abusive tossers who call everyone "fagot ****** jew" all the time.

However this isn't just online I have 1 friend called Amanda from St Vincent and she like me has no ism's of any kind and can take the piss out of herself like i can (I'm a big fat hairy bastard for anyone who wants to know) and the stereotypical jokes come out here and there if the situation calls for it.
I would be like this with everyone as well however it's a matter of knowing the person you're talking to and how well they know you. I would never say some of the things i say to her to other people purely cause I don't like to upset anyone really I'm to nice of a guy.

There will probably be someone banned or suspended for saying something stupid on this thread. Oh well, it's delicious trap you must hit it.

I have never veen racist over the internet but i have been in real life. The only time that racism is acceptable is if you know your audience and as everyone on the internet is essentially a stranger i would never feel comfortable doing it. I would like to say that i am not what you would term a racist; i believe in equality for all and the rest of that crap but if you can't take the piss out of someone for being white/black/irish/made of cheese in a friendly and amusing manner, the world become a less entertaining place.

No, because I have a WAY better arsenal of insults, witty retorts and logical traps which I use instead of petty racist jokes or slams against "your mother".
