Have you ever been so zoned into a game that afterwards you felt like you were on a drug?

Yes I have, ever play L4D offline co-op WHILE on drugs?

Had my dealer/friend over and he had never played L4D (Or a 360 for that matter.)

So we start at No Mercy and he upens the door and cherges down the stairs thinking this is a typical shooter then his first hunter plows him through a doorway and through my house you hear,"HOLY FUCK!"

I was playing COD4 online for what I thought was an hour or two....it turned out to be a six hour run and I had to be in school in 3 hours, for that whole day I was seeing Crosshairs and Ammocounters all day.

I've played a game and felt ill afterwards. Kinda like the onset of a migraine. I'm thinking it's the camera angles because I've been playing Boishock lately.

This has happened several times after playing games, but happens even more when I'm not playing. (I zone out way to often.)

Anywho, it has happened with:
BioShock
The Orange Box (the Half Life games only)
Fable 2
Ghostbusters:The Video Game
Rock Band
Perfect Dark Zero
Assassin's Creed
Mass Effect
Zoo Tycoon: The Complete Collection

think that may be it, but there's probably a bunch more.

I felt rather ill after one particularly long, intense COD4 session.

All that running around like a lunatic can give you motion sickness.

I don't know about "high", but I get completely zoned into a game sometimes to the point where succeeding at something that could go either way yields a fist-pump and an audible shout of delight from me. Most recent example of this: Out of the Park Baseball X, when one of my guys hit a grand slam in the bottom of the eighth to seal a come-from-behind victory. Similar examples happen in games like Football Manager---the less control I have over the outcome, the more suspense and therefore the more thrilling it is.

i played Painkiller, on Insane difficulty, for 4 and a half hours.
I was on the edge of my seat. all day, twitching at pretty much anything and then i jumped and 'reacted' to someone coming up behind and going 'boo' as a joke.
For that 'reaction' i was suspended for 4 days.
