Have you ever been told you look like a famous person but you really don't?

Hi Escapists,

Just wondering because the other day mysteriously I was told I looked like Rick Perry (as in the Republican, for those who don't know), although the only similarity I could draw is that we both wear suits when at work/school though I'm fairly sure that goes with a relatively large number of people in the world.

My brother was also once told he looks like Princess Diana, which seemed equally odd.

So has this ever happened to any of you?

A friend of mine once told me I look like Ian Hislop. He was exceptionally drunk though.

Another once told me I look like Justin Timberlake, that one I can live with.

Many, many times. Everywhere I go someone makes a comment about me looking like Robert pattinson aka Edward. It annoys me to know end. Though once someone said I look like David Tennant. That ones cool.

I've been told I look like Michael Moore and/or a young George R.R. Martin.
I will admit that when I've got a beard going and I'm wearing my ballcap, I do see a slight resemblance, but it's only very general.
