Have you ever betrayed someone online for being a jerk?

I haven't yet, but I was tempted once when I was playing Halo 3 and my teammate started to trash talk me. I was so tempted to backstab him, just to hear him whine about it. That'd teach him not to mess with me. But I was more focused on the game, so I ignored it at the time.

All the time. Like today, some team killed me on CoD4 when i was on 6 kills and lining up the shot for number 7. i proceeded to teamkill him untill the little bastard left the game

I used to a lot of the time, its part of the reason I don't play online shooters as often as I used to. Admittedly I was sometimes harsh; I recall teamkilling the same person for 3 CoD4 Search and Destroy matches in a row because they had to nerve to be a child on my team singing...needless to say they eventually left and peace was restored.

Oh, hell yes. I play Halo 1 for the PC; one doesn't need a doctorate to know that fuckheads play online games too.

There's too many instances where I rage-teamkill to remember anything. Basically, they all boil down to:
-Running over me for no apparent reason
-Rage-killing me for taking something they want
-Spamming the text box
-Being a general douche bag

And then I rage-kill them. These are some of the best reasons to play on a dedicated server with no teamkilling.

oh yes all the time in halo snipers if they pissed me off, or take my kill, or if im just bored i wait till they line up their shot then, shotgun blast to the balls

Yes. Frequently.
In Halo 3, if anyone shoots me on purpose, to get a gun, to make me leave a vehicle(for a dumb reason) or just says something against me, I'll kill them until I get betrayed.

All the time. In Left 4 Dead, Call of Duty 4, Halo 3 and in Super Smash Bros Brawl(bom-ombs are so awesome)

Quite a lot actually. Sometimes me and a friend will play a game in Halo 3 where we join a big team battle and we begin to attack teamates and not kill them. They will eventually get mad enough to kill us and then we will kick them. It is really fun.

Yes. I have many teamkills in Battlefield: Bad Company. I was constantly teamkilled because some fucktard didn't want to take 30 seconds to run to the fight. So, everytime it happens and he spawns, I shoot his ass in the back of his head right before he gets a vehicle. Pisses them off to no end.

Another time I was fixing my heli when some jackass stole the damn thing and flew it into a tree next to me. I rage killed that fucker until I got kicked. Then I re-joined the battle and killed him again. I did this about 5 times before I finally got some hate mail from him.

I fucking hate how people want you to play YOUR game THEIR way.

I do as well, but they really have to deserve it. I don't betray good players that may have happened to slight me a bit.

Usually I only betray the screechy little eight year olds that yell into the mike because I'm supposedly

1) a noob
2) a homosexual, or
3) a hacker

That'll learn the little bastards.

Only with friends, and just for fun. The only other time I will kill someone on my team is if they try to kill me.

No... the team is more important than my petty vengeance or pride. The only thing i have ever done was denying healing for a heavy (as a medic in TF). He insisted on beeing a rude ass, so i stoppped healing him in favour of anybody else.
