L4d and Halo 3 are prime games for that sort of thing, and i have done it in both of them. It's usually elitist jerks who I am for if the guy is just annoying but actually playing the damn game and helping us I couldn't care less. But some douche who is trying to act like our "leader" ordering us around, is going to get a molotov shoved up their ass.

In Halo 3 I did, I was forced to drive a warthog and I told them I suck at it, I crashed ONCE and they said I suck and called me names and shit, thats when I drove their asses off a cliff.

Oh yes, i am sure that would have taught him, you badass, you!

I don't team kill in online games. Even if people do it to me. But if they're private matches with my friends I don't mind.

Idiots on my team may want to stand further away from the explosive materials though.

No, I haven't, since I lack the rage needed to sacrifice my scores to team kill and since I avoid friendly fire servers at pretty much all times.

It's most satisfying to do in L4D.

Once, this guy on our team was a douche and was taking the game way too seriously (it was my friend's first time playing and the guy was mocking everything he did). So when a Hunter got him, the rest of us walked over and started teabagging him. He sounded peeved at first, but then he started screaming and cursing and then he left.

The best part is that the fourth guy, who was just a random stranger to all of us, joined in. And once the guy was dead, the Hunter didn't attack anyone else. He just looked at us, bounced away and we played on.

In short, griefing jerks online is very fun and everybody should do it.

I haven't yet, but I was tempted once when I was playing Halo 3 and my teammate started to trash talk me. I was so tempted to backstab him, just to hear him whine about it. That'd teach him not to mess with me. But I was more focused on the game, so I ignored it at the time.
I do. I just play REALLY badly for the rest of the game if a twat-tard starts to get self righteous and teamkill me forever because I ACCIDENTALLY shot him. I never intentionally teamkill. Just mass suicide. It hurts them more when they lose because of themselves.

It's not betrayal.

It's justice.
Very, VERY true

Well fair play to you. Nice move, what I call revenge in style. ^^

Well I wouldn't call it betraying since it was a free-for-all, but on a 16-man killathon on Lost Planet, there was one guy who wouldn't shut the hell up. He was in second place, I was first, he was talking trash about everyone the entire match. After a while I got sick of it and concentrated on killing only him for the rest of the match, at the end I still ended up first but he'd dropped to last because he couldn't get a kill since I was on his ass the moment he spawned.

It used to happen in Halo for some reason. No idea why. When walking back with the flag or the bomb or whatever, a team-mate would usually kill me so that he could get the point for the team. It's always funny to watch them get clobbered by the other team after I'm dead because instead of two of us being there to defend the point, there's only the ass-hole who doesn't want to play team games. Why go on the damn team server then, idiot? I mean gawd...

To answer your question, yes I do betray my team. When they deserve it. The main receivers of my vengeful passion are the immature idiots described above.

Can I ask you one question? Who hasn't!?! For me online, it's an eye for an eye, and no more. If someone shoots me and teamkills me, they're dead. But once, when some guy was constantly spawning and teamkilling my guys, I spent the next three rounds pumping magazines into the guy's thick skull. It gave me something to do, and it kept his shotgun out of my team's backs. He kept doing the teamkilling so much I just waited for him to respawn so I could brain him again. and again. and again, and again, and again. Ho-ho! YES! Brain the litte --

Sorry, got caught up in the moment.

But again, I ask: who hasn't?

If you don't do things eye-for-eye in the gaming world, you're about to be stepped on. And not by me.

Not so much killing a TKer but TKing for fun when i used to have Star Wars Battlfront. I even made an account called TeamKiller. I loved the Arctrooper.
