Have you ever bought a collection for one game?

I recently picked up the Hitman Collection for Hitman Contracts, a game I have been trying to track down for awhile now, despite having the rest of the series.

Slighty Off topic, but something I found kind of amusing. The Hitman collection came out twice, one with the first three games, the second with all four. The copy I bought was one that had the first three games, while the one that I recieved had the full four games. I got a game for free, which I, ironicly, already had.

Yeah, I bought the Orange Box for TF2 on the PC. I also bought the Mass Effect pack on Steam for the Mass Effect 2 Deluxe Edition.

I owned the orange box for the 360 then re-purchased it basically so I had team fortress 2 on PC.

No, I don't think I have, but I have purchased games I already have on Steam or GOG, just so I don't have to deal with a disk check (particularly for games on my netbook as it has no optical drive).

Wait I tell a lie, I bought a Thief collection just for Thief as I had the other games in the series.

Not always. Sometimes with older games they are only available in a collection. You could pay through the nose on eBay or you could pay $10-$20 for a collection of classics.

I recently purchased the GTA: Collection for my PS2 not too long ago.

It's a lot of fun, especially Vice City. V-ROCK!!.

@theotakuoverlord: Like octafish said, individual games tend to be more expensive then collections. I'm not paying 35 bucks for Hitman Contracts when I can get the collection for less then half that.

I forgot about the Orange Box. I got the PS3 version which was, frankly, shit (exept for Half Life 2, thankfully). When I upgraded my computer I bought all the games back.

I picked up the Humble Indie Bundle just so I could get a Steam version of Crayon Physics. Also, a version my brother hadn't defaced is nice, too.

I got the Orange Box just for HL:2. Thought Portal was shit(awaiting fanboy freak out), but I had fun with TF2 as well. Also bought the PoP collection for my PS3 mainly to see if PoP:SoT was as good as many say.

Well, I didn't "buy" it, but I mainly wanted The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition on GameCube for Majora's Mask. I mainly want the upcoming Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection to play Snake Eater on my 360 and the Silent Hill: HD Collection so I can see what all the fuss about Silent Hill 2 is about.

I haven't, but my brother got me the God of War Collection just for the God of War 3 demo for X-mas.

I'll probably end up with the MGS HD Collection at some point for Snake Eater.

I pretty much got the Orange Box just for Portal, as in my youthful ignorance I didn't know much about either the Half-Life or Team Fortress 2 series.

Best $30 I ever spent.

My friend recently gave me a code for a few free games on Steam(I have no idea why or how he had one). I was skeptical at first but agreed when I found Braid was in the bundle. Didn't care about the other games(I've played them now and they're not great) but Braid was awesome. That's really it for me.
