Have you ever bought a collection for one game?

I guess, like most people, I've also gotten the Orange Box. I've also bought the X-Com Collection, the first Myst collection, the God Of War I & II collection, the Mega Man collection and more than a few classics collections (Atari, Capcom, etc.).

I bought the Potato Sack - a preordered Portal 2 with a 10%-ish discount, and a metric crapton of cool indie games, including Audiosurf, Amnesia, Cogs and others, mostly at insane discounts. The main reason I got it was Portal 2, but the other games were nice too.

I ordered the Rockstar bundle. So worth it, had months of fun with that. But that's the only bundle I deem worth getting at the moment.

Nope. I have only bought one collection and it was orange box. It was the first time I had ever played half life, if you can believe that.

It was the first time I played it too.

Glad to know I'm not the only one. I loved the orange box. It was also my first exposure to team fortress.

I bought the PS2 Devil May Cry trilogy for DMC3. It was the only one I wanted to play through multiple times, and I couldn't even bring myself to finish 2.

I've preordered Mass Effect 3's collector's edition. It will be my first.

Got the original God of War collection and gonna get the Ico one when I get some cash so yeah I think they are good so I buy them.

THe GTA pack which had GTA 3, vice city and san andreas. I only wanted vice city.

I bought the best of Star Wars pack just so I could play Republic Commando. Then I found a little gem called Knights of the Old Republic.

Back in the mid '90's our apartment got burglarized and the thief stole my copy of The Pandora Directive which I was in the middle of playing when they stole it. I ended up having to get a three pack bundle of Under a Killing Moon, The Pandora Directive, and Tex Murphy: Overseer in order to finish the middle game's story. I did get the final Tex Murphy game out of the deal and I think I gave my second copy of UAKM to a friend.

Deus Ex hasn't been in stores over here for years... but a pack with Deus Ex and Just Cause (1) is. So I just bought that instead a year or so ago. I already owned Deus Ex but my disc is a bit scratched and I refuse to ever find myself in a position where I can't play it.
