Have you ever bought a game for a hot girl in the game?

Oddly enough no. I'm just too tight uptight with my money to buy a game based solely on one female character's appearance. :3 That's just me though.

Just in case anyone accuses me of something based on my Catherine icon:
I bought Catherine because it was made by Atlus, specifically the team that works on the Persona series, and I love Atlus to death. They release tons of quality games in my opinion. Another reason that influenced me in even going so far as pre-ordering Catherine is because I've always loved Shoji Meguro's music in the Persona games and I was looking forward to hearing them in Catherine. The third reason that pushed me to buy the game was the fact that it looked like a real foray into the complications of romantic relationships. I was definitely intrigued by a game that finally seemed to be seriously examining the various aspects of the romance and relationship. A topic seriously unexplored in the majority of gaming.

Have a bought a game for a hot girl? No.
I have, however, refused to buy a game because there was some ridiculous pandering objectification of women. Dead Or Alive Beach Vollyball? Not on your life. I bought Ninja Gaiden...but couldn't stand Rachel's...everything. So I sold the game back...and note, I keep almost every game I have every bought, with very few exceptions. Ninja Gaiden was one.

Yup, any game I can make a custom character in. Okay so no, not really, but then again I don't really need hot chicks/dudes in games. But that a personal thing *shrugs*

anyone who had bought DoA must answer yes to this question ( yes even if you bought it for reviewing purposes).

No, sounds like a waste of money to do that.
Precisely my sentiment. In all honesty the concept of using sex appeal as an incentive to buy a game/see a film is baffling to me. If I want porn, I'll watch porn, if I want to play a game then I'm going to do so for the actual gameplay.

Bayonetta. Of course I also bought the game because from what I've seen from screenshots it looked incredibly fun. And it was.

Now, I'd like to say no, but I wasn't always the paragon of virtue and discipline (and cynicism and misanthropy) that I am now, so I can't guarantee it. Certainly there's nothing on my steam list where that's the case.

Not really. I mean, you can't really do anything. I do find the Catherines quite attractive though that may be my hentai fetish acting up again.

Every Tomb Raider game until the thrill of Laura started to fall under the horrible gameplay.

I bought Catherine because I wanted to try as kind of game I've never played, and I've heard nothing but good things about Atlus's past games...

...the Twin Drills is just a bonus!!!

Well, I do own the Tomb Raider trilogy for PS3, but no... I haven't bought a game just because of promise of hot girls.

Hmm, probably Tomb Raider games when I was hovering around the 13 year old mark.
Because that was the closest I could get to a girl, plus I had no interwebz to see some naked ladies.

Now I got interwebz, problem solved :p

Why would i spend money for something i can get for free?

I buy games based on my perception of their quality, not because there is a hot chick on the cover.

most people who can swing $300 for a game system and $60 for games can also afford a computer and some-kind of internet access.

I'd never buy any game unless I knew it was good. Getting bonuses or surprises in games are way better! I really wanted to play RDR because it appealed to what I love. It wasn't until I played it, that I realized John Marston is a babe!
