I've bought Doom on nearly every console (and mobile device) I own.

I did buy a second copy of Halo 3 when the disk on my first game broke.

I have F.E.A.R. for both Xbox 360 and PC.

I bought Driver 3 (or Driv3r...) twice. Shut up, I was ten and didn't know better. Besides it's nowhere near as bad as everyone makes it out to be.

Edit: How did I forget this? Snake Eater, Subsistence and HD versions of MGS3.

Psychonauts. I have the PS2 and computer version. Mostly because it was cheap and you can never get enough Psychonauts.

half life technically four times, one legit, the other one in a box set to get the expansions, the other ebay advertised the box set as half life 2 whereas it was just one with the expansions, and the last one was half life source (IT COUNTS DANG IT) with came with half life 2.

Yup. Had to buy The Sly Collection and Uncharted 3 a second time after my copies were stolen in a break-in. I also got Portal 2 for Xbox before buying again on Steam for the level editor.

Bioshock and Advance Wars 2 are the only games i've bought multiple time, but only because they broke or I lost them.

Does that include replacing crappy copies? I've had 4 different copies of Final Fantasy VIII. Although the first one I got for free, so yeah. Most of the discs of my first copy ended up wrecked because I was an idiot when I was little, I have no idea why my second copy stopped working, my third copy never worked (friggin' ebay) and I ended up buying it again off the PSN Marketplace because that was guaranteed to not be broken.
Success!

Fallout 3 and TES IV because I like just playing on Xbox (It seems more reliable and I prefer to play on 360) and I have them on PC (They were cheap on Steam and I bought them to mod. Less reliable and more for messing around.). I play games more seriously on my Xbox and use a PC just with smaller games that I like messing around on like KSP.

Sounds expensive...

I've purchased Oblivion 5+ times, never once regretting it.
I've purchased most of my games library a second time on PC.
I've repurchased games after trading them in, realizing I liked them too much.
Got a few collector's editions on Amazon for the hell of it, already having the games themselves.

Morrowind: 2
Skyrim: 2
Unreal Tournament: 3
Unreal Tournament 2004: 2
Neverwinter Nights: 4
Neverwinter Nights HOtU:2
Neverwinter Nights SoU: 3
Mass Effect 2: 2
Dragon Age Origins: 2
Dragon Age 2: 2
Warcraft 3: 3
Starcraft: 3
The Sims: 2
The Sims House Party: 3
The Sims Hot Date: 2
Drakan Order of the Flame: 2
Beyond good and evil: 2

funny thing though, the second version of Mass Effect 2 was a collectors ed that I found on a sale.
But whenI tried to add the collectors ed content to my Bioware account I noticed that you can only have one product for each platform from each title, and I asked EA why and if there were any possibility for me to add the content any way.
they answered no, and then question why I would even get a second copy of a game in the first place...

I hadn't touched a CoD title since 2 on PC, but a lot of my friends pestered me to get BO on the 360. I was kinda addicted after a bit, so when they stopped playing I traded it for the PS3 version which other friends were still playing. They then stopped and the guys on the 360 started again, so I traded it the other way.

MW3 followed a similar pattern, although I only played about 5 hours on each system....

All in all, I spent nearly as much on those two titles (plus DLC) as I did on the two systems I was running them on... all the time complaining that I couldn't find the money to upgrade my PC

Hence the don't ask
Ouch. Too bad the game doesn't have a cross platform server.

That definitely sounds like EA. The company has been going downhill for a while now. I stopped buying from them after they forced Origin on us. That was the last straw.

Bought Bulletstorm twice, for PC and for X-Box 360. I wanted to support the developer since they were having financial issues.
Not that it mattered much in the end since EA screwed them over a few months after the release of Bulletstorm.
