Zeno Clash, i was looking for a new game to buy and it had a demo on steam so I decided to give it a shot. Best game I ever bought without knowing anything about it.

I hadn't heard of the 'Tales of' series before seeing a little blip about Symphonia waaaay back last console generation. I thought, "Hey, this looks ok and I'm in the mood for an RPG so let's go."

Now it's one of, if not, the most favorite game I have and easily my favorite RPG series I've played. Mass Effect, Final Fantasy... both great... but not Tales to me.

Tried that later when I had that mood for a new RPG and picked The Last Remnant off the shelf. Needless to say that was trade in credit within a couple days. I'm a bit hesitant to buy games on a whim like that anymore. Especially strapped for cash with college n all.

Audiosurf.

All I knew was that it was a musical game and $1.50 USD. The latter is why I bought it.

Well, last year I had a friend who bought Mass Effect 2 and found that he didn't like it that much. So he sold it to me. I had seen the commercials and didn't think it would be that great of a game, so I bought it for like 25$. Heh, look at me now, a walking talking Codex.

Team Fortress 2. i bought the orange box for Portal and Half Life. I saw Team fortress 2 so i decided i would install it but probably not play it so much (I wasn't big on online shooters at the time) one thing led to another, and I now have over 800 hours of playtime.

Kingdom Hearts 2. All my friends were talking about it, so I bought it, played it for a while, then got to Station of Serenity and almost had an eargasm.

Being a symphony/orchestrated music buff, that was what got me hooked into it. I can safely say that that game has one of the most beautiful soundtracks ever. Ever. EVER.

Chrono Cross...saw this intro in some gaming magazine demo disc and bought the game the next day on an impulse with saved allowance money:

I still have my original game...and I've NEVER regretted the purchase.
<3
Beaten this game on multiple platforms.

I would have to say Deadly Premonition. I had heard some of the game critics I tend to agree with constantly bringing it up and saying that it was amazing, so I picked it up on a whim.

Best snap decision I ever made.

Has to be Tachyon: The Fringe, it rocked more than I thought it would plus Bruce Campbell was the voice of the character which was even more awesome.

I bought Megaman Battle Network on a whim after seeing it in a shop back in the day and ended up addicted to it. I don't think I even read the back of the box.

Boktai 2: Solar Boy Django and Golden Sun: The lost age.

Bought Boktai 2 after seeing the box art in my local game shop, while Golden Sun was warranty.

Probably, but I can't think of them right now. However, I pre-ordered Rage without knowing a thing about it accept some preview trailers. I believe that it WILL count.
