My greatest prize is my Latios. I had to do so much to get him (team of 5 Wobbufett and a Roselia for Grasswhistle, about 200 max revives and full restores each, 100 timer balls and ultra balls). It took four days.

No, because you always need someone else to help due to version exclusives. Even with Wi-Fi on Pearl version, there are so many cheat versions online that I never used it. It would have still felt like cheating.

Yes, this battery is what keeps your data saved. Once it burns out you can no longer save the game.

That is fairly close of what happened to me (I instead just trained my one wobbufett to like level 65 and I must have bought a few hundred timer balls).

They sure do. Not in the DS games, but the game boy games have one for internal clock purposes. If, of course, you're being sarcastic, then you don't hide it well.

I managed to get all 151 on my pokemon red due to some glitch that makes mew a catchable wild pokemon. I lost that game save as my sister thought it would be good to start a new game before getting bored after 45 minutes.

148 in Pokemon Red, didn't have Mew and that one pokemon you get in the first cave, opposite of Kabuto.

I deleted that save because there was nothing left to do, nobody I knew ever picked anything other than Kabuto, and it was a few years before the Mew trick was discovered.
