What kind of crimes? I've done all sorts of petty crimes- driven at 35mph in a 30mph zone, littered, and trespassed . Got away with them all :)

If so, what did you do? And how did you get away with. I'm only 14 and haven't really hung around with the prison types at school and at home. The worst I've probably done is steal sweets and stationary from a corner shop, but everyone did it and we used to compete and see who could walk out with the most stuff.

But what about you, ever kicked a really annoying dog, ever shanked a sleeping tramp?(joke...). That's basically it, my question that I'm asking you is if you've ever acted out a crime and got caught or got away.
or shanked a sleeping dog and kicked an annoying tramp.

Why're you so curious? What are you hoping to get out of this thread? (I'm not discrediting you or anything, I'm honestly just curious, so many threads here seem to be aimed at making human connection through questioning others about their life experiences, so why?)

First I'd like to point out that prisons and jails are different the terms are not interchangable. (at least in the usa)

Jails are where you go while you're awaiting trial or have been sentanced to less than 1 or 2 years depending on the state. You can only go to prison after you've been convicted and have been sentanced more than 1 or 2 years (depending on the state).

Anyone can go to jail. You've could've been caught by a hardass shopkeep and spent two days to jail. You could forget to pay a traffic ticket. You could have an ex go nuts on you and you defend youself only to have both of you put in jail for fighting. A kid could step out in front of you car.

Anyway, other than working at one for 2 years (and still the ocassional overtime shift) I have never been in jail. I assure you though if I did I would read, eat, and sleep all day and love every minute of it.

Nope neither. Criminal records don't sit will with future doctors, so I'm staying well away from anything like that.
I've had actual doctors come to jail. (domestic abuse) and saw him at the hospital six months later. We shook hands and it was akward. He just used all his 'vacation time' while he was in jail. (1 1/2 months.)
Anyone can go to jail.

Underage drinking I guess, but everyone does that. I miss those days...

Although to be fair, it was pretty easy to do in my area. Standard age check went something like this:

Barman: Do you have any ID please?
Me: No... But I have a beard.
Barman: Ahh OK then, that'll do.
*result*

I think I stole some some sweeties from the village shop once when I was a nipper, but everyone's done that too, I'm sure.

I'm not saying they can't, just that I want to stay well away from that if I can at all help it. And that would have been really awkward indeed...

if they got away with it, wouldn't saying it here kind of defeat the purpose of getting away with it? Thats like going up to the police and saying
"Ah here lads, you know that murder a few years ago? i done a great job at avoiding you there didn't I!"

Apparently I robbed a bank. I walked in with about 15 coins and went over to the change machine and walked out with $75.70 US.

EDIT: O and I have shoplifted and stole alcohol and trespassed on people's property.
