Have you ever convinced someone you're someone else?

Now this could be anything or anyone so go crazy.
I consider myself a reasonably good impressionist who can mimic a number of celebrities, it's a useful skill and while it won't get me into movie premieres it's definately fun if the only thing seprating you from another person is a microphone.

I'll give you a few examples of what i've done.

Christopher Walken: One of the best impressions to do (his voice is awesome). I convinced a Canadian man, in a game of Halo 3, that i was Chris, not the hardest thing to do, just pretend i was on a relatives account, and pretend i had no idea what was going on. I may have fooled a few others in the game but this man went along with it brilliantly.
(i was tempted to say that the game needed more cowbell but it could have been a giveaway)

Butters- South Park: Before my supple body developed cahonez i could do a pitch perfect imitation of this character, it might have been too easy but i convinced what im assuming was a 10 year old boy that i was a voice actor on south park. Luckily he didn't know that Matt and Trey do a majority of the voices or he might have asked me to do other characters. (which i can't)

I have a few more i might add if people ask but i want to know if im the only one who enjoys this type of thing :p.
Also i've searched for other threads like this and couldn't find any so if there are others then let me know, its a bit of a specific topic so i might just not have been broad enough with my search.

I convinced someone that I was American. Not hard, since my accent doesn't sound very generically Aussie. And without me even trying, many people think that I'm a 50-something year old pedophile. I'm not sure if I enjoy it, and I don't really try to make people think that I'm someone else just for fun, but I guess if I was really bored and at a sleepover, I might do it. I just wish I had Chris Hansen's voice. I could do so many things with it.

Me and my childhood best friend used to play pranks all the time. Whenever we went on holiday, we used to tell people we were brothers, and make up these weird stories about us. It was awesome.

I've convinced people I was my brother before. We look fairly similar, especially when we were younger. Wasn't particularly difficult either!

I'm terrible with giving directions or knowing where shit is in my city (Belgrade, Serbia). I know how to get from A to B for places I need, but that's the end of it and it's quite embarrassing being asked where something is when I feel I should know it. I'm also a great fan of English and I often talk to my friends in a mix of Serbian and English (switching from language to language whenever phrases/words are better/more suitable), particularly the one I was with that day, a Serbian guy who grew up in London before he moved here.

Anyway, the two of us were biking and we sat down on a bench to relax a bit and we were talking when this older person came up to us and asked us where a certain bridge was. Now, I knew the name but had no clue which one it was exactly so I looked over at my mate confused and faked a thick British accent, telling the old guy I haven't the faintest clue as to what he said and my mate luckily played along. The guy just apologised and moved on and we burst out laughing when he was out of sight :p

I've convinced someone that I was British. The ruse ended when an actual British person (this was on MW2) started talking about various intricacies of British politics and I didn't understand what he was talking about. That was fun...

No. But the closest I have come was using the name Renard when ordering coffee once.

I love doing impressions. I can do a good Morgan Freeman impression, I haven't convinced people I am Morgan Freeman, because why the fuck would Morgan Freeman play video games? Still, it's fun to do. I have successfully convinced people I'm Devvo though, which is this guy...

People who know me over messenger regularly seem to think I'm a guy, and then they stumble across one of my profiles... :s Many are surprisingly disappointed?

I once convinced a kid I was looking after at work I was god using the intercom while he was in the doorway and really shit him up.

I also bought a title once and convinced a company in Morocco or Monaco I can't actually remember that I was a well off businessman and secured an invite to see their latest project because they thought I wanted to buy it. (I did, I just don't have millions and millions of pounds, but they don't know that). Sadly I could not go and see it as I could not afford a plane ticket, being a broke student. I convinced the high school reunion committee that I wasn't who they were looking for---in fact I was his former roommate until he'd passed away.

I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall at that reunion!

Not pretend as such, but I constantly got mistaken for a friend in school. We looked similar and hung out pretty much all the time, so names were apparently irrelevant.

Oh god, Devvo impressions are so much fun to do, especially with a group of friends in a public place. The looks you get are fantastic :p

When I went to America I managed to convince some people there that I was Daniel Radcliffe/Harry Potter, despite being several years younger than him. I'm still not entirely sure how I managed that.

I do a spot on Golem and Stitch. My students love it when I start teaching a chapter in Stitch's voice.

I do a few other random ones like Kermit the Frog, but I don't do any real-life people that I know of.
