Allergies. They can be pretty rough. Never expected that.

OT: It has been two years since my former lover's death. Sometimes I hear a song that we shared, and it just makes me collapse.

A Game of Thrones' 'Red Wedding' was close, but not quite.

I did shed a good deal of Manly tears over that bit in Claymore, though.

Well, the Illusionist, the French cartoon from last year, but that's because I was not prepared for it, as I hadn't watched the trailer, or anything else. I knew nothing about it, but my friend told me it was good, so we all went to watch it. That was sad.

I cried at the end of Bioshock, then again everyone else I know did too. One thing that made me cry that I NEVER expected was Ulquiorra Cifer's death scene in Bleach.

Last time i really remember tearing up a bit over sometihng rather silly was when i watched Toy Story 3.

When they were all in the scrapyard, no escape possible from death, they all just looked at each other then held hands. I was like HOLY SHIT! You can't end it this way please no! Thankfully they got out pfewww

Thing is i watched with my neighbours kid when she brought it over to my house(my mum looks after her) and she's about4 and couldn't understand why i was tearing up.

I never expected Gives Me Hope [http://www.givesmehope.com/] to hit me so hard, and yet hit me it did. I was eating spaghetti bolognaise at the time, and by page 30 or so my sauce was watery with tears. Not even kidding.

You've been warned.

The friggin' Green Mile. It's based on a Stephen King book for crying out loud! The few of his books that I've read ain't exactly tearjerkers.

Good live music makes me tear up something terrible. I went and watched Wicked and when it got to Defying Gravity, I just let rip. I dunno, something about it being live just made me bawl my eyes out.

I could probably fill a swimming pool listening to the live version of Adele's Someone Like You. Damn.

My uncle's funeral.

Never really knew him that well (only met him about four or five times, because he was always moving around the country so we rarely got to meet up with him), and he always seemed kind of quiet and withdrawn. We barely spoke at any length. I thought it would just be a family formality; something to go to because I kind of had to.

As soon as his friends started talking about him, it struck me that we had more in common than I'd ever realised. I couldn't hold the tears back.

I cry a lot at films or programs. I wasn't expecting Gin Tama to make me cry in the slightest though, it's a comedy anime! I'm only up to ep. 11 but there have been quite a few moments that have me shed "awh" tears. Like, when some dude breaks out of prison to see his daughter (now grown up) perform on stage, but then saves her life with a paper bag over his head so she doesn't recognise him, but then she does as he walks off. I even looked past the fact it was a Michelin Man looking alien shooting tentacles from his stomach to consume her.

My Great-Grandmother's funeral. She died a week after my dog died (who was 15, and was therefore with me for as long as I can remember, being 17), and I cried then too.

So, 2 deaths within as many weeks :'(

In the movie 'The secret life of bees' there is a scene that is so extremely emotional that it made me cry. I have always been a bit of an emotional boy, but still... wow.

You get such a connection with the characters, and when i saw the scene where one of them had taken suicide, i cried. It was a movie shown at school to show a bit of the *excuse this word incase i offend someone* disdain people showed towards those who had black skin. I cried while 200 other teenagers were around me thinking 'sure, like i will believe that it was that bad for them'. 99% of youth nowadays don't know how bad other people may have it, and that, in a way, sickens me.

Thanks for the kind words :) I've gotten over it a bit, as it was a few months ago, but I've gotten teary-eyed everytime I've gone past the Cemetary where she was interred :(

Two major surprise cries in my life.

The first when my first monster died in Monster Rancher, (really old game on the ps1 and an even older anime) just one night it went to sleep and died for a reason i still do not know or remember to this day. Albeit, i was five at the time, but still.

The second time was as i watched the end of the first Bleach film for the first time, a mere four months ago. As the movie character passed away with a heart touching wish, i was shocked my eyes began to water and i began to sob at the scene. I'm a sucker for a great narrative, but thats the first time i've cried at a piece of fiction, whilst being emotionaly mature.
