So I'm sitting here, drinking a whiskey and reading the Escapist when I realise: I'm not acting like a 16 year old!

It's only a minor thing but, let me ask you, have you ever done something that makes you feel old? or younger if you like.

A couple months ago, I was sitting in a park by the river Thames where I was reading some poetry. I didn't just feel older, I did wonder if I had accidently traveled back 100 years...

Sometimes I find myself reminiscing about past events that I know was absolutely horrendous as "the good old days"

I drink tea, my preferred choice of alcohol is Guinness, read plenty of very good books/plays, have seen films or television programmes most people my age would never have even heard of. I mention Dr. Strangelove, everyone looks at me funny. :(

I suffered a back-injury, Twelve Angry Men with Henry Fonda genuinely moved me, I read 8 chapters of Atlas Shrugged, and I un-ironically said "Ahh kids these days."

I was at the bar with my friends last weekend when I realized "wait a minute, I'm drinking an Old Fashioned". That and the grey hairs I keep finding.
