On a few occasions I get very gigglely and laugh at almost everything. And it always takes place at night when I'M really tired.

I believe thats a natural high. I'm not fully sure as I not a medical expert nor did I ever took drugs.

Sleep deprivation is the only real example, I think.
You can get a buzz by hyperventilating or pass out by standing up too fast, not breathing, and just moving about (for some people).

Every time I come offstage, or the camera stops rolling. Natural high my friends. Acting is my drug.
This. Right here. I have no need for drugs. Get me acting and I am the happiest person alive.

Woo! Actors of the Escapist unite!!

It's a strange kind of satisfying feeling if you're playing a disturbed or depressed character. Like...just about anything Lanford Wilson ever wrote.

With just the right ambient temperature, and after dark, I all of a sudden feel hyper-energetic and EXTREMELY playful, and while my critical thinking skills don't shut down, I temporarily sstop giving a damn and go do hyper things.

Does being choked out to the point where almost all of your upper body is numb and you feel extremely relaxed count?

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is awesome.

I have done some in my life (not saying how much or what type) but yeah of course. An extreme adrenaline rush, the moments after sex, a great meal in great company. Seriously anything you can become addicted to (natural and unnatural, good and bad) can give you a rush. But honestly certain drugs you cannot mimic with natural behavior and that is why they are dangerous, even prescription ones.

I get high on life day in and day out. At least I think i do, seeing as I've never done drugs (mostly because living is much better than dying).

There we go, someone who described what happens to them, that happens to me as well.

Yes, moments before passing out from heat. And I know what high feels like from antidepressants. Prescribed antidepressants.

When I haven't slept for a day or two, sometimes I feel like I am high. Doesn't come close at all, but still the feeling is there.

I just want to make it clear right now that I've never abused drugs in my life and I don't advise anyone else to. Okay? Ok so the other day I was watching an episode of the old Rugrats show for no discernible reason when there was a scene where Chucky was writing a letter to postman in crayon (and of course it was all in scribbles) with Tommy telling him what to write. Now there was something about the way they both seemed to understand what was written on the paper in comparison to what they said aloud that just blew my mind. It's hard to describe, but it felt like Smurfs were tickling my brain with feathers. So yeah, that was weird...
If you've never taken drugs, then how could you possibly know that that's what it feels like to be high? What it's like to be high would be a completely alien feeling to someone who had never been high before.

OT: Yeah, I've felt high even when not directly under the influence of drugs before, but that's because I was stupid enough to fuck around with one too many RC's back in the day, and as a result I sometimes enter disassociated states and other altered states of consciousness even when I haven't taken a thing. But when I take good care of myself (eating healthy and exercising) I feel that way a lot less often. So, word to the wise recovering user, staying healthy helps a lot.

Of course.

That is because I have bipolar disorder, and as a result can enter long stages of feeling high.

The problem is, with any high, you get a low. And my lows were awful. Medications are wonderful to help though :)
