Oh wow, no.

You actually vomited in anger?
I think you need to get some sort of therapy or something.

It's only a game.

I can safely say that I have never been this angry at a game.

In fact, I've never raged over a game... I just don't do that.

Probably because a big portion of my mind is shaped like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pIO1m0bFwgs that my anger gland is about the size of a dust mite

Broken a few controllers, broken a window with a chair, smashed my cell phone, said some rather awful things to various people. You are not alone, OP.

No, If I get really angry I just punch my pillow.
I try that, but when i feel that softness hit my fist, it usually makes me made at the pillow, like its mocking me, it knows i can't hurt it, yet i try to because i feel bad hurting my own kind, so i take it out on a helpless pillow, but it knows this, so it purposely absorbs my anger and throws it back at me, the pillows, they mock me, they laugh at me, i can hear them, laughing.....

I've screamed. A lot. Also I'm not a controller thrower. Instead I grip it as hard as I can usually while I'm screaming.

I feel compelled to add that the window, cell phone and many things I've said were not game related.
Probably should have read all of OP's post.

I've gotten very frustrated and angry while playing some games, but always turned them off before they could get me into throwing stuff around. It's better that way, they keep me coming back anyway

Your avatar makes me want to listen to Conspiracy of One . . .

OT: I am the least angry of all my friends who are gamers, but once I got into a pretty bad shouting match with a guy on COD4 who kept killing me by spamming frag grenades during search
But he had it coming, I literally wasn't even alive for a tenth of the whole five rounds we played

at a party this girl reckoned i wasnt as Christian as her, and this is the kind of girl that f***s anything that moves? i may not be the most religious guy in the world, but i take it fairly seriously
i held myself together, walked home with some friends. ignored my mother as i walked in, beat up my sofa for about 5 minutes, as in 300 seconds straight, and then said "yeah the party was alright"
i shouldnt have taken it so seriously, this girl is obnoxious, rude and actually would only be classified as plain even if she lost a few stones (even though i shouldnt really throw that stone myself", but she loves herself
she actually said that when boys (11-13) look at her, their balls drop early
when she said this, i was so tempted to say "did that happen to you when you looked in the mirror?"
but im babbling now, and it wouldnt do my mental health any good to go on thinking about this

oh yeah, and grenade spammers

I have never gotten that angry at a video game, though its only a matter of time seeing as every time I go on Mario Kart wii wi-fi I usually end up, after being first for a while, getting hit twice in a row and knocked way off the track.

I must have some really sever anger issues.

Let me explain it all for you.

Typical Sunday for me:

Wake up at 9 in the morning, splash my eyes with cold water and get right on the Xbox to play some Mw2. Well about 3 hours into the bliss, I started to suck.

BAD.

My teammates were sucking, the enemies were being campers and dropshots (Don't even get me started on them) and it was on my best map, Skidrow.

Well, I got so angry that I threw my controller out the window into freezing snow, screamed so incredibly hard until I felt the capillaries on my face break, and I ended up vomiting everywhere in my room because I got so ticked.

So have you ever gotten so angry at a game, that you have had a similar experience to the one above?
Whoa. That's some hardcore anger there mate. The angriest I've ever been with a game was also with MW2; but I just threw my controller at the wall very hard. It broke badly of course.

I try to avoid games with cheap kills, such as MW 2, where people can kill me without having to kill me specifically(the drops and all that), because of how frustrating it gets.

That said, I've busted a bunch of controllers. It's satisfying to throw it, have the casing open and see parts go flying.

My Guitar Hero controller stopped working after a few years too, but that was just from overuse, so I used that to therapeutically smash it on the pavement. Good times.

Outside of gaming though, I don't get physically violent, sans for throwing my hat around. That's about as violent as I get in the real world, lol.

OK... Am I unusually tolerant/calm, or are a lot of people in this thread just very, very angry? I get the same games full of spawn point campers with grenade launchers/1887s as everyone else, I get stuck on levels for long periods of time, then die right when I can see the end anyway, I get stuck during work, or my laptop refuses to work for ridiculously long periods of time... But I don't then have to run anywhere, throw/punch things, and I've never even heard of anyone vomiting due to anger. I just kind of stop playing at the end of the game (no ragequits for me!) or wait for things to work again or something.

I dunno, it might just be me being strangely calm. I got punched in the face the other day(ironically, it was from a guy I'd tried to stop from getting into a fight with a couple of bouncers), and just kind of asked the guy why he'd done it. We're quite good friends now...
