Have you ever just finished a game from start to finish in one sitting?

Dead Rising... the survival mode where you can't save and the only goal is to survive as your health slowly drops from hunger. 14 hours real time, 10 day game time. Seeing how the story only lasts 5 days I think that qualifies.

Well, I believe I did Halo 3 in one sitting, I also did Gears 1 in one sitting, I could do Fallout 3 in one sitting.

My roommate and I powered through all three Halos in one night. Needless to say we were both very late to where we had to be (him work, me class).
That'd be more impressive if you did it on legendary.

I did that with Halo 2 and Red Faction.

I don't think anyone should mention Sports/Fighting/Valve games or expansion packs. It's really easy to do it with sports and fighting games and Valve and expansions are usually really short.

In the spirit of Trevor Goodchild, I will reply that I am a genious, therefore I can afford to make spelling errors.

I tend to get about 50-90% of the game done in one sitting, and finish it the following day. This was the case with COD4, Mirror's Edge, Gears of War 2. The only game I finished in one go was when I stayed up all night with my friend playing Gears of War 1.

Hmmm....A lot of people have said Portal, interesting how I chose to actually not beat it in one sitting, but so many others have.

I did the same with Gears of War 1, but I finished it the next day with a friend. We played all night, but needed sleep and like the 90% part of your post, we finished the remaining 10% the next day. Same goes for Gears 2 with another friend of mine. Good times...

The Dexter's Laboratory game for the PS1. It was really short though. Just some really simple puzzles and mini-games. I was actually really disappointed wit it.

My friend an I ran through the co-op on Gears of War 2 in about 6 hours.

Latest game I beat in one sitting was Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It was the Single player campaign.
Do you mean the Classic or side scroll bit?
Its not complete 'till you get all the trophies in that vault thingy anyway.
