Uh, to clear things up, I'm just curious, not murderous. And I don't think anybody here has killed anybody, but occasionally when you hang out on the internet, you meet guys who were in the army, etc.
Re-reading my post, it does come across a little psychotic.

~EDIT~

Yes, I am mainly asking people who were/are still in the army.

But feel free to contribute your spam anyway.
Yes, I have. I was involved in a car accident where an 11 year old boy ran across the street without looking. I was slammed on the brakes when I saw him but I couldn't stop in time. He had 2 broken legs and some minor bleeding, but when we hit he flipped onto the hood and hit the windshield, detaching his brain stem. The next day his mother removed him from life support and donated the organs.

I don't know what its like to kill in war, but that accident has haunted me every day for the past 12 years. I would give anything to change places with that boy.

No. They were zombies, hence they were already dead and so I didn't get charged for murder.

Despite being the military, I've never killed anyone, and I hope I never do. I've always been afraid to ask my superiors or fellow soldiers if they've killed anyone, it seems like something they'd all be very uncomfortable answering.

My father is in the military as well, and was a mortar operator during the Persian Gulf. He told me he doesn't know if anything he shot ever hit anything, or anybody. He said all he knows is that his superiors told him where to shoot, and then told them to haul ass.
Where are you stationed?
I'm in the South Carolina U.S. Army National Guard, so right now I'm not stationed anywhere. My unit doesn't deploy for a couple years.
Oh well thank you for your services then.

Oh my... uhh... now that I have my response, I'm no longer so sure that I should have asked it...

I'm sorry.

In reality? Not to my conscience knowledge. Virtually? Billions. GTA3, pneumonia, and a damp basement over three weeks, capped a million kills before ending the game. Since then I've beaten that score and played WoW for years, spending most of that time in the BG's.

Your post made me hungry. Also, let's not jump the gun and start blaming games for his problems...he might just be a freak.
Is it seriously that weird to wonder?

I have often pondered what it'd be like.

Additionally, I plan to one day find out.
I have a tendency to be facetious...this is a particularly unfunny example. On topic. I have itches to be savage, that...mostly go unscratched. Satiating base urges is most likely thrilling in the short term. But I wouldn't romanticise the idea...nothing lives up to it's hype afterall.

Thanks, but I have come to terms with what happened and I used it as an excuse to try to do the best I can. I can never take back what happened but I can try to do good from here on out. It is the reason I became a middle school teacher.

Yes, but it's all good. She was leaving me for another man... break up with me will you?

No, at least I don't think so. It's human nature to wonder what it's like, anyone who says they have never have is a liar. Wondering and considereing are not the same.

I've never been responsible for the death of another human being.

According to PETA, though, I'm a mass murderer. KILLING FLIES IS INHUMANE!

And yet, the pornography industry probably makes billions of dollars a year.
A billion a year, in the US alone. Which is strange considering how ugly it is. If I felt the need to gratify myself in that way, I'm sure I could use my imagination to come up with something more appealing.

You doubt your opinion in your first sentence, but then assert it as fact and call me a liar the second. Is it hard to believe that I haven't wondered what it feels like to kill? I've thought about how the world would be a better place if certain people permanently disappeared, but I've never thought about how it would feel to be the one swinging the shovel at their heads...don't let the fact that I have picked a murder weapon fool you.

Pure and compleate terror!

I had trouble breathing, ny vision was blured, and I could barely think straight for some time. In fact I think I simply "froze" for a minuate.

In short, it was the single worst moment of my entire life.

I should probably mention this was an accident. Maybe it feels different to kill on purpose, or in self-defence. I do not know. But I would not wish it upon any man. Killing is wrong.

I shot the sheriff. Can you guess who I didn't shoot? ;)
He shot the sheriff, but he did not shoot the deputy.

(Background singers) He didn't do it, he didn't do it.
