A few years ago I was with my dad and he had to go to the pharmacy while I stayed in the car. After a few minutes had gone by he came back and promptly asked me what was my favorite movie (Terminator 2: Judgement Day). He also asked me to get out of thew car and walk with him, and all of a sudden I spot Linda Hamilton outside the pharmacy. She was behind my dad in line at the counter and my dad recognized her. We both got her autograph, and had fun discussion. She's very nice.

Does it count that my cousin is a host on one of Swedens largest radiostations, Bandit Rock? Because other than that, it's pretty scarce, only met some people that are only half famous in Sweden, like Dogge Doggelito.

I met that girl who played Blaire from The Facts of Life, I've also met Ivan Moody (Lead singer of 5FDP), hung out with Attack Attack! (they're really nice guys), met Scott Barnes from In Fear and Faith (he's like the nicest guy ever), and I took a piss next to Dane Poppin from A Static Lullaby.

I met John Landis at a comic and film show in London one year. He called me a bastard as I had admitted that at the time I had not yet seen American Warewolf in London. I'm strangly proud about that. Other years at that show I have met William Shatner, Billy West, Jason Mewes and Tom Baker. Also when I was at university I was able to see Andy Summers play live. After the show I was able to meet him and get him to autograph one of my CD's.

I tell ya what, the Edinburgh fringe with 2 or 3 mates, one of whom is unstoppably extrovert on JUST this side of being really annoying with it, and all of you being somewhat under the influence for almost the entire duration, is a good way to get your count up.

Thanks to that we have at the very least (from what I can pick out of the alcohol-soaked haze) made nuisances of ourselves to Dean Haglund (the long haired one out of The Lone Gunmen) once, Mark Watson a couple of times (one instance of "digital heckling" which ended in the temporary confiscation - by Mark - of one of the quieter mates' camera, another just a chat as he hung around ninja-like in the audience before a different show), Chris Neill at LEAST twice (bbc radio producer/sometime on-air comedy performer) and a variety of others. All cool guys. Possibly Tim Vine (also cool) as well ... or maybe we were just up close at a show and were within touching distance. Same story for Nicholas Parsons who was quite fractious once off stage. Alan Davies, disappointingly, wouldn't even give you the time of day.

Additionally I have corresponded with a couple of moderately famous musicians in a meaningful manner over email and the like (Ricardo Autobahn who keeps popping up in different places, including a UK eurovision entry in the year of Lordi, and M J Hibbett who is a favourite of certain radio 2 / r6 DJs) and met the latter very briefly (handshake I think?).

Oh yeah. And an ex-gladiator (Khan) was a doorman at a nightclub I worked at for a couple of years. Still had the physique, you wouldn't dare mess with him unless you were very drunk AND very stupid. Good bloke but quite taciturn.

I once met Maxwell Atoms (he worked on the Grim adventures Billy and Mandy) at Wondercon, I guess that doesn't count, but, my brother was once kicked by Gary Coleman, at least that's interesting.

I've met Emilie Autumn, hung out with Voltaire at a wedding and sung on stage with him at a gig, met Andrew W.K and hung with his wife/back-up dancer/vocalist(Cherrie Lily) and band.

Emilie Autumn is absolutely gorgeous. Inside and out. She's so sweet. And she deserves all the success in the world after everything she has overcome.

Voltaire is hilarious and really easy going. He and his wife come to Australia to play at a friends wedding, and did a few gigs around the place, at one, myself and some friends got to get on stage and sing with him.

When Andrew W.K come to Melbourne this year they hosted musical bingo at an artsy cafe/bar. Afterwards I met him (and he signed my tshirt), and then hung with his wife and band in the bar for a little bit (where they all also signed my tshirt). They are amazing and so full of energy it's insane.

I've met Dara O Brián. It was a book signing and I made him laugh.

I do know a guy who got hugged by Jesse Jackson while he was in collage recently.

I also met Graham Stark, Paul Saunders, and Kathleen De Vere at PAX East. They count right?
